14.13 - Jiddy: I forgot the HRZ for one minute. However, 88e now has so many assets (amazing and I remember "enormous, vast, immense", etc); and my favourite fron Livin: "Monbombastical". But we have changed 88e direction. Was simple: prove HRZ, cream curve, sell. Now, a different story. Yes, extra conventional all very nice but it was originally 'free' insurance. Now, real money is going into those assets with all the associated cos approx 30% drills. HRZ is nearly here and has over 3 bb on internal figures (so 50% more than present conventional estimates). I always feel that when a project has a stated aim it usually works best to see it out and then embark in a new one (all sorts of logistical reasons). This departure costs (RI) so we shall see if diversification adds value here after the associated dilutions, I hope it does. VGLA

I agree; however, I also heard PB after 1st London presentation define his understanding of 'creaming the curve' and I immediately assumed that we could never get that far without a prior takeover. So, my position has always been that 88e will go on for as long as possible to try to maximise value of assets but, in the end, the point of absolute maximum advantage will probably be impossible to reach. H-h: key thing about BPC is that it all happened without knowing whether they definitely have oil. 88e knows for sure that HRZ non conventional has high quality, light oil. There has been some distraction from that as most seem happier to contemplate our three 'more familiar' conventional opportunities. However, we do seem very well placed by comparison to BPC and; on land, supportive politics, pre-installed infrastructure, DEFINITE OIL. Shall stop now so as not to out ramp Phrontist! :-) VGLA
