He(?) and I have our very marked difference of opinion about content of these posts. However, since this poster appears in periodic 'bursts' I am disapointed to report that all substance has now been diluted and almost all the efforts have been channelled into criticism of Brombarb. This is especially inappropriate at this time for obvious reasons. A poor show, highlighed by such a promising earlier start a few years ago :-(( Seriously unimpressed. VGLA

08.32 - Jiddy; a good reminder. I should like to add a further reminder (especially in the light of some recent posts on this bb) HRZ: 3.6 billion barrels (internal estimate). That, DW reminds us, is from only 271,119 acres. Why did we put in so much effort into having 'captured' 'the vast majority of HRZ play' (DW, Feb 2017)? That has now resulted in 690,000 gross acres ~ 400,000 aces net to 88e. Extra acres amounting to 418,881 could reflect very favourably on 3.6 billion barrels estimate (5.56 bln more). Total on which to reflect: 9.16 billion barrels(!) VGLA!!

03.19 - Phron. Yes, however, I'm afraid that is now a surprisingly long time ago. Nevertheless, we know we have shale oil, in vast quantities and we have got it out. The issue there is getting geology and engineering to link - a big ask from the Ice 2 vertical drill; there will be Ice 3 and with all our data and latest shale tech......! The status of the conventional lags behind but all looks very promising and something seems to be brewing at Yukon. I do take on board concerns about batting on several fronts but it is now a more risk-spread portfolio - and, somehow at present, the JV still retains control - amazing! :-)) VGLA

BB32 - I agree entirely about DW's integrity and the value of talking with people whilst sharing space with them. I have spoken with Dave around two London presentations but will also treasure listening to PB speak for some 1/2 hr after the 1st one. I think it gave a very important set of perspectives for the 1/2 dozen who had the good fortune to hear that. Of course, he was passionate about the huge unconventional resources within the JV. VGLA

Another good read BB32. Important to have an up-to-date post identifying potential quantities of oil. Red - share your views. I'm afraid that once we move again there will be a fresh proliferation of 'expert', opinionated posters. Has ever been thus but this is still a vital portal for investors of all kinds as well as those looking to reflect on whether to invest. As ever, all best to both :-)

And Dazz it still takes the same energy to move the cars (more with batteries on board). The batteries need to be charged with electricity generated from ??? and manufactured using energy generated from ??? and replaced using energy generated from ??? In addition, for example, even if Sahara became one vast solar array, as we all know, electricity transmission is notoriously inefficient. The alternatives to fossil energies have a long way to go unless fusion leaps into the frame. VGLA
