QE is money printing

They are creating bank reserves out of thin air to purchase assets, it created inflation in asset prices after the GFC in 2008 and this time around it created inflation in the CPI because the printing this time around was done at a time when the high street banks were still lending and thus increased broad money / helicopter money

I see it all as a lot of nothing about a lot of nothing.

It has everything to do with the shares in issue, if we were at 8p with the same amount of shares we had when SD arrived - a ten bagger at this SP would make a market cap of about a 3rd less

There is a direct and correlated relationship between SP and mcap, the more shares in issue the slower and harder it is to rise in price because ultimately it is what the company is worth in total is what investors will gauge the upside on. 5bn shares means we only need to hit 20p to get back to a valuation of £1bn.

We got that valuation well over 30p the last time around….

With the amount of shares now in issue courtesy of our friend Lord Confetti (SD) a 10 bagger would see the mcap hit in excess of £4bn

Joub the only way a short will continue to effect the SP is if it increases. No more selling will happen unless they increase the size of the bet. Yes it would have affected the SP when it was opened and increased but not while they are closing or it is just sitting there… the selling is done

I think we need to remind ourselves that a short position made many months ago has no negative affect on the price. The sales have long gone, it’s if the short begins to increase selling pressure then that will apply downward pressure?

Barclays have just told me that they will submit them but can’t guarantee they will be voted. Nonsense

And all shorted shares need to be bought back to close the trade, and given back to whomever loaned them out in the first place

All shorted shares are loaned out, unless you are a market maker where the objective is to sell high and buy low to create liquidity

And in the meantime… gold breaks through critical support
