Financial press not music magazines23 Jul 2020 13:51
There will be spikes as new content is added but I am not expecting any significant sustained increase in the sp until MVR is taken seriously by the financial press. I have sent emails to many and have always had courteous replies but not a word in support has appeared in print.
All recognise that this is a niche market and put little value on the library ( borne out by the recent results). Neither can any understand the need to see the performer when listening to music.
I have built up a huge number of MVR shares over the past 3 years because I have the dubious advantage over most on this site of, unfortunately, not likely being here much longer. Being an AIM share, none will be subjected to 40% IHT.
I initially bought the shares because I believed Everything VR would not be confined to pop music. My interest in the latter is, if a so called artiste was performing at the bottom.of the garden, I would come in and shut all the windows. I found the content of Wireless abysmal but technically brilliant.
I have been disappointed at the quality of posts on this site, the majority being more fitted to some music magazine. Many remarks have shown total ignorance in investing acumen. ‘I don’t care what the sp is I’m in for the long term.’ You can have complete faith in the long term but this does not mean that you should not trade in them on a regular basis. I sold when I considered they were grossly overvalued at 16p. Instead of making a huge loss from holding at that price I have made the same huge loss trading but have increased my holding tenfold to 5M. Most of my eggs are in one basket as I still believe the sp is grossly undervalued.
Journalists like to hear from the public so could I urge others on this site to bring MVR to their attention with, of course, a reasoned argument for doing so?
