Mantashe said the other interventions being taken by government to address the country’s electricity deficit included:
ensuring speedy implementation of renewable energy projects under bid window 4, of which over a 1 000 MW has already come on line;
the procurement of 2 000 MW of power under the Risk Mitigation Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme - the preferred bidders for which would be announced before the end of March 2021; and
the procurement of additional power in line with the Integrated Resource Plan of 2019, including the release, in March, of a request for proposal for 2 600 MW of renewable energy, followed by additional bid windows between August 2021 and March 2022 for renewable energy, storage, gas and coal.
when the big seller / buyer is done we should move quite quickly.. like back in 2018 when we moved from 28p to 50p
The big positive for now is as a company we are on a much stronger footing than we were 12 months ago.. sales are rising, production is rising and V prices are rising..Europe and the US are up nearly 35% compared to where they were a year ago and still going up...
We have all been waiting over two years to see these levels of v price rises daily.
Two years ago this board would be ecstatic about these levels of rises and the board would be filled all day with positive comments.
Add to this our significant increase in Production over the last two years and record sales there is so much to be positive about.
Let’s have a day of positivity and sharing more research. After all this is where new investors come in to get a feel for the company. Let’s give them something to be excited about.
GLA
Was the bod communicating any better in 2018. It was the v price that took the SP up. All the shouting was done by the investors.
2021 V prices are up, sales are up, production is up, more profit in our coffers
This board needs to get back to promoting the company.. I hardly come here these days as it’s troll this and MM games, and Directors selling off even when clearly stated it’s tax liabilities and just more infighting.
I hardly see any positivity about the investment we are all in.
I’m expecting a very big year just on the minerals side.. everything else is a bonus
I won’t be selling anytime soon..
largo SP clearly responding to the v price rise. Up 8% today.
V prices up 35% since the start of the year. Largo SP up 38% since the start of the year. BMN sp down 25%. We should be North of 30p now up 76% from where we are now...

All I know is the company is making more money . V prices in Europe have risen from $ 22 kg to $ 31-$ 34 kg in recent months with more sharper rises since January bringing them to a two year high .
The company is clearing a more healthier profit margin . sales are up, production is up , expansion is on going . BMN is in a very good place ...

By 2025, renewable energy worldwide is predicted to become a $1.5 trillion dollar industry, incredible growth in such a short period of time.

thank LS.. good to see European Prices up to nearly $31 and we are only at the beginning of Feb... normally Chineese prices would track around $5 to $6 higher historically so will be interesting to see over the coming weeks once they get back on track after the new year celebrations.
which ever way you look at this the company is making more money...
