Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Since I appear to have the board to myself this morning :-)
The Africa renewables energy market is opening up quite nicely ..

Long but worth a read
An extract..
It is not possible to predict what storage technologies will ultimately be the economic and reliable technologies of the future. At this time, the developing technologies closest to commercialization appear to be vanadium flow batteries and the physical lifting and lowering of blocks

A few Quotes
Wamsted says that currently, the key stumbling block in the lithium-ion battery market is duration. “Four hours is the current maximum for storage that can be built economically,” he says. “Longer duration storage is needed to facilitate the transition away from fossil fuels; and there are other battery options, particularly flow batteries, that may be able to do just that.”
One such prospect is vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs). A growing number of experts are raising the prospect of VRFBs being at least part of the solution. Writing in Energy Post in 2019, Dr James Conca said these offerings were “fully containerized, non-flammable, compact, reusable over semi-infinite cycles,” and “discharge 100% of the stored energy and do not degrade for more than 20 years”.

this behavior just goes to highlight how undervalued we are. Its been going on for over a year.. The same pattern into a rise... we would be 17/18p now this morning just based on the buying pressure. Anyway all this highlights what a bargain the SP is for anyone who has patience and wants to get on board the Bushveld Story... i have no doubt it will come good..

you have to request a sample report but the headline caught my eye.

just drop the company an email..i have and am sure many others have also.... i also asked for an update on the JSE listing... not expecting a response..but atleast the more shareholders that write to him the more he will understand our frustrations..

beginerman
its did bounce from 8p to 17p before the penny traders dragged it back down.. when it got to 17p we were still in partial lockdown and did not have a view of the record sales in Q1.... logic dictates we should be north of 20p now but logic doesn't seem to apply to BMN...
you can only hold back a profit making company in the current environment for so long...
SG
very positive indeed.... the Chineese will be looking to build significant stocks to support their Infrastructure ambitions.
I liked the point...
"New data from Chinese consultancies shows rebar consumption over the past two weeks was the highest ever seen"
good news from a Vanadium perspective
GLA
I don't think there will be many companies reporting record Sales..... Vametco Q1..77% higher compared to Q1 2019...and 33% higher than Q4 when there was no global pandemic... on to of this we have Vanchem sales which we did not have in Q1 2019.
Great RNS and the SP drops... usual pattern with Bushy.. we will go up when there is no news over the rest of the week...
Take the win . We are one of the fortunate ones . Even if we start at 50% and ramp up to 100%,we are at least out of lockdown. There are tens of thousands of businesses which are still in lockdown.
As the snippets of shipment data ave shown deliveries have still been going through during lockdown. That’s another big win for us.
Also we heard yesterday on the board from reliable sources inductions were taking place yesterday.
There are plenty of businesses who would love to be in our position.
South Africa have done a fantastic job at managing this whole crisis.
As the world economies slowly start to recover we see already the figures touted around on Infrastructure projects . $ 2 trillion just in the US alone.. there will be plenty of need for vanadium.
Net - plenty of wins for us to be positive.
GLA and stay safe.

Central to this economic recovery strategy were the measures South Africa would embark upon to stimulate demand and supply through interventions such as:
a substantial infrastructure build programme;
the speedy implementation of economic reforms;
the transformation of the South African economy; and
embarking on all other steps that would ignite inclusive economic growth.
