Afternoon Trellis
I am not sure if I was bags first member but definitely a member but have never held any twitter or facebook accounts. The optimism today is based on developments. As my posting history will show to all, I have been more than critical of the board of directors current members historically and most certainly departing as I have spent hours on the phone to the latter over the years and met at meetings. You can see from my history after the great debacle of Choco and how we diluted this to what it is today and sold it for what the last placing was at the time and now its churning production from all our work and money I was livid and rightfully so. I honestly didn't think when diluting at 0.16 and below we had any chance of seeing my money back, I laid low seriously hacked off and pointing the rightful blame at poor decisions that had trashed my investment, however having taken some time to cool down not look at the screen every day ( months) and take note of what's progressed I have added in another £8k since October.
Manykayan, I am happy with this option and with a world super recession likely I do believe these rare metals will continue to increase and I believe the Filipino government will be far more helpful with job opportunities preventing a few more locals going hungry.
Our 20% I don't believe will be the static asset it has for all these years so as its proved up whilst the 80% sell out was at 50% below book value we will claw it back from the 20% down the road.
Eureka, will be disposed of you suspect sooner or later you would have to suspect as too many pies at present with action in Africa.
We know Colin valued Mankayan far higher and one could argue he could sell ice to an Eskimo if strong grades come back rom Africa and we continue to prove it up we can then only argue about copper and gold prices.
I am not at all happy about my first buy when I was buying with just 59 million shares in issue in the real pennies off course not but we have gone from him disposing of the dead wood, making cuts, installing new great team experience, concentrating on a continent he spent the bulk of his career in and taking this from the borders of insolvency to a company that can be sold on potentially with a value far higher than todays current Sp that's why I am showing more optimism!
