FT is reporting the Chancellor will use Mansion House speech next week to launch growth plan for financial services sector. Does this give any clues as to which way the SC will judge? If they favour the customers it sort of kicks the legs from under Reev's growth plan doesn't it?

judgments are handed down in person, in the Court, on Wednesdays at 9.45am. They are also live streamed via the UKSC website, so you can watch live or on demand. Details of forthcoming judgments will usually be announced here on Thursdays at 11am.

News of future judgments given by The Supreme Court will appear on this page approximately one week in advance of the hand down date.

Judging by the way the sp is going sideways in a narrow range could it be the longs holding it down?

The current sp being under £3 seems to suit the longs as much as , or maybe more than, the shorts?

The real question that should be on peoples minds is why was 270 held and who was picking up around 3m shares as the trading revolved around that level.

If I understand you then, the FCA will decide if a redress scheme is required in respect of DCA and the SC will decide on the bigger picture non-DCA issues revealed by the CoA ruling? The SC ruling could affect the quantum of a redress scheme but would not prevent the FCA from bringing it in? I think...
