Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I suspect it is just a knock on effect, catching up with FOGL and RKH drops, like the budget house builders, similar (or viewed as) companies tend to go up and down together. However, like Barclays racing away from LLOY and RBS (for not taking the Govmnt bail out in 2009), once the penny drops that ARGs area (and deal with the big boys) is very good, things will no doubt pick up.
thanks for that, always lifting to read +ve comments (can't stand all the deramping around on AIM at the mo!) Oilwise, I'm just in ARG myself, a bit of an old flame I've kept alive since just after they started up. Originally bought in over 60p but have managed to average down to 9.75p. My other holding is in SOLG which has always had a large following and much discussion. This one is far more low key, it can be so quiet on this board for weeks but I still have a very good feeling about this one and wouldn't be surprised if it flies up very soon. Good luck and atb, Rag
..yes may have been around 65p or a bit more. What I also like about ARG is that (and I'm happy to be corrected) there has been no share dilution since. So there is no reason why it can't recover some way from it's lows today. I don't believe the board are going to let everything slip, the reports are clear, they have funding to "beyond 2105" (agreed this is missing a detail or two!) my guess (no ramping intended) is that the BOD will pull a last minute rabbit out of a hat or will accept an offer which isn't quite what they'd hoped for but is a life saver non the less. Going back to DES, remember that the share price went to £1.70 odd and they hadn't even found any oil! I think much of that hype was down to Rockhopper's success and ARG is so much closer!
..l think everyone learned a lesson with DES and probably the only folks making money were those that had the balls to "wild chance" it each time it sank, as I recall it was falling 50% on each piece of bad news and then climbing steadily the same day. I didn't have the cash at the time so it wasn't one of my success stories. ARG is different however, I think they've been honest enough to come clean and say when they weren't taking in the campaigns and (unless they've had a DES BOD immigration) they're not likely to be spouting lies about finding oil.. which then turns out to be water! Regardless of the cash fundamentals and whether they will or wont drill this year, I'd be amazed if this stays flat in the excitement of the activities going on nearby. You've only got to look at ARG's price around the time of the RKH/DES drilling , it was 50p+ and they weren't taking part then either. An easy few bob for those with a bit of spare cash to risk. British Bulls got a buy on this one too, and no I'm not ramping, I've held ARG for last few years but not in large enough quantities for it to make that much difference, nearly everything I have invested is in SOLG Good luck and yes, please DYOR. :)
Howdy bud, nice to see some updates on here . I happen to think this is one of the most under-appreciated shares on the market. As soon as I even out on my target for a few of my other holdings I'll be throwing a load more in here! I dont think they can go wrong with the quality product that they've got, personally I think that anyone still saying that builders are dead is barking up the wrong tree! All boils down to the basics in the end: small Island, people still coming in, old houses needing to be replaced and of course the realisation that flat's dont add up for most families with small kids and the desire for traditional style houses! I'd say this is a fairly dependable share, it falls to 1.15 on a crashing DOW then shoots right back up again when the storm passes. Easy ££ for the casual trader and a no brainer for the long term invester..
yep.. they used the NoNo word in their report - CAUTIOUS. As usual people dived out on profit taking. What I do like about this company is that they are honest and can be trusted - like GKN, if anything they factor in a bit of a conservative approach and then do better than expectations. This is one is likely to dip down a bit (we haven't had a bad DOW day recently, that will shake things up a bit) and that will be the time to top up or buy in. Long term prospects for INCH are excellent but near term "caution" has scared 'em off a bit.
Last time I was looking at a share on the brink of possible upsurge was RAY, climbed from 2p to 18p, time before that was YELL last year at 21p climbing to 78p (though admittedly falling off afterwards). I'm not going to make the same mistake again, selling up too early!! Get in on these at this low price, ride it out and enjoy the climb. ASM are presenting tomorrow at the Rodshaw and Renshaw Investment Conference and may well pull a few of the big fish in if they are positive. http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=42801475&symbol=L%5EASM good luck all!
Howdy buddy, and buddy you are as a fellow INCHCAPER. But I think you're wrong. The 2m sell does show -OK, but there is also a buy for 2,561,373 sometime later , admittedly a catchup trade but nevertheless a balancing one. Today's activities did'nt surprise me in the least. 29 is a fair call for normal trading conditions (ie if today's was to carry on) but I think Wednesday will a different game altogether. The DOW was flat (ish) today and may well affect the share price tomorrow if it starts to drop or rise significantly, similarly LOOK's results too could swing it. However to take INCH on it's own, with good results (as all signs seem to point to) I'll be surprised if it does'nt come out of auction at 8:02 am Wednesday in the low 30s. That's my very 'umble opinion of course. 2.30 pm tomorrow I think will be the telling point as to what things are going to do, if the DOW jones opens at roughly today's price/above and stays flat/rises then I think we'll see the rise we're all hoping for on the day.
OKEYDOKEY! - If Inch opens at 25:00 tomorrow I'll eat both my shoes. Hedge - there are 4.6 Billion shares in inch, to drop 2.3 p since last close would take some massive bad news, resulting in such a huge pullout. I think we'd all have heard of such by now. Once big factor on the price of these shares is the US market's index. Generally a good DOW close results in an SP jump of pretty much all shares the next day. I am quite sure inch will open up on today's price
