I've been in touch with Halifax again and now able to cast my NO vote. Apparently, it wasn't a corp action notification, but a 'voting rights' - strangely, but according to Halifax they wouldn't have sent out notification on this?? Anyway, once I was made aware of this the online chat process was relatively easy.

I'm with Halifax too and have the same issue. I spoke with Halifax yesterday and they didn't know anything about this. I emailed Serica and they've replied this morning saying it should be resolved today, so hopefully we should be able to vote soon. FWIW I'm voting NO, around 180,000 shares.
Coincidently, I emailed MF just a day or so before the deal was announced, voicing my disapproval with the seemingly lack of any kind of company direction. He actually emailed me back, almost straightaway. I've since emailed him a couple of time, and again he's emailed back. I lack the technically expertise of some of this board so my questions were more in 'layman' terms. Although, I've have now strongly voiced my disapproval of this deal and told him, via email that my vote is a resounding NO. I used the company email: info@serica-energy.com - maybe others might want to voice their opinions?? Merry Xmas to all.
I'm a LTH having originally bought in as a mid penny share (5p). After all this time I'm now starting to sell down and have been for the last few weeks or so (20K blocks). Although I believe there's still so many positives ahead and IMO North is still the main direction its time for me to start reducing my exposure. A 'profit is a profit' but a fantastic profit sets me up for a happy retirement - this outweighs the fact that there could still be further profit to come. Each to their own - we all have different reasons when we buy and sell. Good luck to all holders.
I've been invested here since this was a very low penny share without selling. Accumalating around 300k shares along the way. Although I believe this still has a long way to go, is still undervalued and could be on the verge of new, lucrative journey North its time for ME to start selling down. I'm coming up to retirement and the profits, for me, are life-changing. Thanks to all those for their wise words spoken along the way, which allowed me to keep the faith when feeling wobbly.
Wishing you all the very best.
First time post. I've been invested here since sqz was a penny share - that's obviously many years ago now and have done particulary well over those years. Bought some, sold some along the way but still very heavily invested and truly believe this still has a long and profitable road to travel. It's been tempting to sell up and invest into many other shares that could maybe offer a excellent return! However, the way this share is constantly being managed leads me to believe that a T/O or acquisition isn't too far away! Almost every day without fail there are far more buys than sells yet the price either stagnants or drops. I've come this far and will hold until either of the forementioned happens! All IMHO
BTW: comments on this board are very knowledgable and informative!
