JOM, something else if you're interested in science v belief have a look at this one. I've read it and it is very interesting. It's by Rev Dr John Polkinghorne titled Questions of Truth...Fifty One Responses to Questions about god, Science and Belief. John Polkinghorne was a Physicist and latterly a theologian. He was President of Queen's College, Cambridge.

It's just a question and answer book and if you are looking for 'some sort' of answers as I am too regarding religion have a read you might find it interesting.

Hi mick-b...again! Yeh Ok I made an assumption re his nickname. I'ts amazing how many people think I an a fan of Rafa the football manager. I'm not interested in football although my sons and husband are. I'm a tennis fan, and female.

mick. I know, he called it to stop some of his most "conservative" voters defecting to UKIP. I am a Conservative voter by the way. He was a coward and convinced he would win the referendum, meaning to stay within the EU..and because of his privilege he never contemplated losing...stupid man. He should have tried harder when he went around Europe negotiating a better deal for us.

If you're referring to what I said...I should have thought a little more before I posted...I'm not the first one! Anyway, what I meant to say is that quite a lot of leavers may have voted to restrict immigration...?

If Cameron had left the referendum for a year or so, he could possibly have negotiated with other countries (not the whole-you're right) but some who perhaps could have made a case for a change along with us. Just look at the change in sentiment over the free movement of people which has occurred in the last couple of years...let alone the problems with currency. The Euro was never going to work for the poorer countries in the EU. He should have waited and we may have got a deal without all this mess.

snige, I voted remain (got the helmet and flak jacket on LOL) because I thought we could or should be able to negotiate a better deal...for all of the EU, not just us. I think the whole of Europe want the same things i.e migration and it's effects, and if we has stayed in we may be able to get what we want, eventually. Having said that, the EU are treating us very badly and anything we come up with will be thrown out, probably. they want a second referendum and whilst the UK can't agree they will keep pushing!
