Has anyone tried to work the numbers out for MET?
The high wallers need 1.6MW of power, running for a shift assume 10hours with overtime. Is 16MWh per high Waller per shift. Not sure what power source they have got, generators. Power at a $150/MWh as a guess. Gives $2400 per shift per high Waller or $4800 per day for 2 wallers. Running everyday 30.5 days per months gives $146,400 per month to run.
Wages: 70 people with overtime on average of $45,000 per year = $262500 per month + tax and pensions say $350,000 per month.
Estimated same again on overheads $350,000
Total $846400
Rental of equipment...can't find any figures. Say $150000 per month each
Total = $1,146,400.00
Add on a generous 25% for miscalculations
Total $1,433,000 of costs
Unless I've missed a huge cost in there they must be making some profits on $2million turnover per month
We employ 110 people in the UK and make profit on £1million turnover per month. We're in manufacturing so some similarities in what is possible and we are heavily reliant on man power.
My opinion, but I predict a profit around 20%
