I have been here for a very long time and only playing with couple of grands worth but fell for the waffle of ukog, angs and alba as there all looked promising (hasn’t worked out too good has it ) Alba is pretty much last throw of the dice to get money back. I really hope Gf can to prove me wrong!! Im just very sceptical of what they can achieve.

company directors will only read these boards and laugh to themselves. They aint interested in putting shareholders first. They just want the money to pay for their spanish villas and boats.

Do the Alba BOD have their own money in the share pot? How much money is being used just to pay over inflated wages and bonues? Does the company make a loss every month or is there enough coming in to cover expenses?

Does anyone else get the feeling the share price is being played. Question is do you try and catch a failing knife or take the gamble and wait for the big pump and dump again. Same pattern. Its just a case of lucky timing with this lot.

nothing to do with rational investment thinking. Its to do with constant BS from company directors who promise the world with exciting sounding RNS announcements to string people along, end up producing nothing but still happy to take and play with other peoples money. When they need more money for their lifestyles release an a new tempting RNS, bump the price up, dilute exising shareholders to destruction who have orignially belived the suited and booted city boy with rich parents. rinse and repeat. same thing over and over.

Rome wasn't built in a day correct but at least they has started the foundations and started conquering. no point having assets if they dont make a return

maybe so but Alba or whoever eventually digs the mine isnt going to be able to digup the welsh countryside to get to the pockets or even veins of gold. It isnt ever going to be an open pit. The locals will make sure of that. Always remember and ask yourself why they stopped digging and never went back. Technology or no technology. The miners gave up.

the way i read the results is they are not amazing for initial drill results. We need an interview by GF to explain the results.

What are good gold drilling results?
GOLD: One ounce, or roughly 30 grams/tonne is high-grade and can be expected to move markets in most cases. Several ounces of gold per tonne is considered to be high-grade for underground mining, although 5 grams gold/tonne is usually economically viable.

alba are heading the right direction at least (no pun intended) but people now need results and returns. Can this BOD be trusted after achiveing nothing over the years and still milking the system?

can someone verifiy what is classed as a good g/t results. Quick search on google says 30 grams per tonne is high grade and 5 grams per tone is economically viable. am i correct is saying these results are alot lower? but if welsh gold will that really make a big difference? We obivously still need to wait for official report?
