Like I said everyone.... the manipulation comment was a throw away. Of course that cannot be done at this scale. BP is going through harsh times.... it resembles a gender transformation that is not yet concluded. One is not yet quite sure of the outcome until all bandages come off.

It seems that there are worms crawling through so many different markets. Not much makes sense nowadays. I am just sitting tight and observing. Patience is a virtue. The oil price above 100 and the reliance of Europe and other regions on Russian oil and gas I think we will see an accelerated shift towards renewable. It won't change over night but it will accelerate...and guess what. BP will be ready for that

Market manipulators at work. Look I have always said that if I sold my BP shares today, it will go to 450 this week. I can sacrifice myself....for the greater good

Could we see a return to 2 GBP this financial year?
I am referring to the financial year ending May 30th with results being publised in September 2022.

BP will recover. Just give it some time and stop panicking. You can see that they are ahead of the pack in so many ways working towards best in class in both OG and Renewables (well put @Happy). Its paving the way for susta8nable and future proof energy solutions. Bp is Beyond Petroleum. So all those old school Oil investors may be disappointed but the company is absolutely on the right track to be lean, mean and with the times. I do agree however that Looney needs to uncorke that Divi bottleneck. I think he has done great things for the business. But he needs to not forget his shareholders!

A 25bn fine for exiting Rosneft is not exactly a drop in the ocean. Especially with soaring inflation and interest rates that are expected to put huge pressure on markets.

The BP story requires some real turnover in renewables to offset some of these losses as well as to prove that it is indeed providing margins that allow for sustainable growth.

BP should be above 400 but I also understand why investors are hesitant. There seem to be better cash cows out there when it comes to O/G business.

Yes you are right. I may have been insensitive to the entire catastrophy that is unfolding in Ukraine. I don't believe this situation, so far it does not escalate further into regrettable territory, should have a longer term impact on this stock. The sector itself will be hit due to suplly chain issues and the impact of sanctions on Russia. I suppose it is hard to predict what will happen moving forward...that is the uncertainty dragging down many markets right now.
Back to Oncimmune. I liked to see higher trading volumes recently. Would be great to have more of that #moreRNS & good news :)

3 years ago i made my first investment in ONC at 1.15GBP... that was just before the release of the ECLS study. After the study was released the shares crashed down to 0.4GBP. They had taken the 8mio funsing round (debt) for the 3 year strategic expansion plan. 3 years later we are at 1.20GBP when revenue is expected to be 70x that of what they made back then. Holding on but.... these numbers are unjustified.

Agreed, circumstances sometimes tie your hands and limit your options. This is definitely a harsh lesson to learn.

It's so weird how everyone gets hyped up when the markets are good. And when they are on a down trend, everyone is scared and sells, with no rationale sometimes. How did it come to 130? I need available cash ASAP. Can you believe seeing 130 again? Hope this is a last!

Must be lightweight84 selling ^^. Its mixed feeling I have about this SP. I mean what an opp to lower the average but....I won't sell out on a low with other Red holdings just to get more in here. I don't know just how slow this cooker really is.

I am afraid that any more investment into ONC is going to make my holdings allotment a little lob sided.
Going to sit tight for a while and hopefully see a positive motion here on the stock piles I am sitting on.

Correct me if I am wrong but did ONC not just sell their US Overheads and struck the Biodesix partnership deal for 25m revenue over 5 years? I was under the impression that they had lab facilities in the US?!
Either way, I agree that it would certainly be advantageous. Perhaps when the Biodesix deal is further down the line...

Exonn as well as Chevron had recently double down on their Oil asset incestments whilst the likes of BP and Shell have been selling. No doubt we should expect great result thanks to the current brent crude price and also BPs exceptional trading desk. I just wonder whether the downstream operations will deliver. Restructure is well underway/ completed so assuming cash is available but there are tremendous Investments into renewable projects and I wonder when those start geberating the desired margins. I am hesitant to believe that BP will be able to follow Exxon, nonetheless I think the results will be very good.
