You are right - this company has never been the one to capitalise on a strong share price to raise cash - they only do so when it is needed (which they obv should raise funds for a rainy day whenever possible) this is a double edged sword - investors usually hate when a company does a placing on the back of a strong SP, but the reality is its a very wise thing to do indeed!
You are right they should have secured the farm in whilst they used this cash to continue operations, BUT with interest in other projects it is the right decision to raise the cash, conserve it and get the non core assets sold.
I have always found you very savvy, you mention Lepanto which is very interesting..... as I said said, someone or some entity wants it all?!
