Back to the 70s..#excitingtimes
With the insider situation now removed from their comms strategy...do we just expect the next RNS to be out of the blue or dripped via other sources. I would hope we are just a few weeks away from the next piece of the jigsaw being put in place and then hopefully an RNS about a project start date or similar. Fingers crossed. Potential is massive..so need good sifting skills..hope that's Graham's skill set...seems to be.
There's still life in the fields that's for sure. I hope we are involved and being considered as this is a good test case for the various options and the finance structures. Brilliant post Ying Tong.
Just be running out of ways to drag it down.
Please God...let LT have a good family holiday soon.
Possibly......A sailing ship with two or more masts, typically with the foremast smaller than the mainmast.
Anyone got the skills and knowledge to lay out our potential options for Newfoundland.
ITS ALL GETTING VERY TECHNICAL.....AND INNOVATIVE Working with Shell, Makani will devise a solution to fix its kite to a small spar buoy moored with a synthetic line and gravity anchor. This system is possible as Makani’s kites are 90% lighter than turbines of a similar power rating and are also much smaller, according to Makani chief executive Fort Felker. By replacing tonnes of steel with lightweight electronics and smart software, the overall levelised cost of energy is reduced, he said. In order to adapt its energy kite technology to offshore environments, Makani will draw Shell’s engineering and operational expertise with floating structures. A prototype of a floating offshore energy kite is planned for demonstration off Norway later this year. Felker said Makani is also developing additional partnerships to help it commercialise its technology.
Royscot..any thoughts on this. Can't say I remember anything to be considered insider info. Did minty say anything after AGM in the huddle??
Sorry..pasted too much..bottom section

UK-based Marginal Field Development Company (MFDevCo) has entered into an initial two-year agreement with Siemens’ oil and gas engineering subsidiary, Dresser-Rand Group. Energy voice article.... Numerous “stranded fields” containing gas reserves have been identified in the UK North Sea, however many are currently too small to be commercially viable for recovery. It is hoped that the use of GTW will make their recovery more economic.
Mfdevco are pumping the positives out there today. Interest from a number off developers...OGA clearly supportive...monetise old areas considered stranded etc.
Minty can now turn his full attention to the big one that he wants to deliver and proving his theories whilst "Scotty"secures the first deal over the line and gets to fund bigger things.
ALISON oftens refers to the opportunities they have workdwide and it seens Siemens like the potential too. ................Siemens is working with MFDevCo with an initial focus on UK projects but is also keen to investigate other projects that MFDevCo is pursuing worldwide.
Remember that Graham said that GTW was beyond the concept stage....let's hope the next RNS tells us the name of the first field/project.
Rob Barnes, Head of Siemens Oil and Gas ERA Region, said, "We are delighted to support the MFDevCo team which has a real insight into the viability of the marginal fields in the UK. By applying the right technologies to the efficient development of these fields we believe that the untapped potential of these assets will be realised."
What happened to our little Brazilian friend posting his Dommo insights? Dubious updates from Brazil!! It's obvious that the only real news in the future will be an RNS. The long term nature of these deals will always be a killer. The sure thing is we will never have a duster..our risks are more political and technical but hopefully the consortium minimise the latter risk factor. All we know is that the clock is ticking and hopefully Scotty will determine which ones are most suited to delivery. A number of times we have heard about others coming to us...however these would be at the early stage and we need to be much further on. The bigger question must be..what deals have they been working on for past 2 to 3 years that might still be viable. That's where we could investigate or research more!!

Difference between a cake designer and cake decorator.. Thinking in food terms.. The team have spent the past few years designing and baking the cake, ingredients fully paid for by shareholders. Scotty is the master cake decorator....he will now put the delicate finishing touches to the company.
Scotty has certainly picked up the mood of shareholders and seems to recognise that he must get a deal over the line very soon. Let's hope we have something that's at that stage and this is achievable. No real mention of Newfie at AGM yet one of his main focuses now...also sifting the chaff...fingers crossed.
