Have a relative who is a Primark store manager having been offered full-time work after being a part-timer at the East Kilbride branch during his full time education. Don't shop at Primark myself these days although I have bought a few pairs of kids socks etc. there in the past. Not sure how the cd experiment will go for them but if they are offering even less of a range than the supermarkets then I really think the space could be better used but we'll need to wait and see ATB

Thanks for the offer of the vouchers sid but I was only joking. Neither I nor my children want for anything and the vouchers would have more worthy recipients. I have gone through a spell of buying tht as gifts for family, friends and school staff for every occasion and I maybe need to start being a bit more imaginative now. My younger child has started secondary school now and it's no longer cool suddenly to get school staff gifts in the same was as at primary school. Might be an idea for one of the holders to put a link on here to the annual report as it can be difficult for newbies to locate and maybe summarise or comment on the highlights. I will maybe have a quick read through it next week if I get the time. Have a great weekend ATB.

I would gladly accept your discount vouchers. Various reports saying retail sales in September were up after being sluggish during the Olympics. Growth being forecasted by CBI in coming months due to lower inflation. ATB to you and Mrs. Sid.

Bonz holds his shares in certificated form and has never had a problem receiving his vouchers. My shares were held in a nominee account and I had to make a speical request to be registered for perks and company AGM invitations, voting papers etc. across my portfolio. I got two loads of discount vouchers sent by mistake in 2010 and had to chase them up last year. The vouchers cannot be used on line nor in franchise stores and I was starting to find certain branches were imposing strict rules about usage and not allowing them to be used in 3 for 2 deals etc. Bonz told me they could be used to buy gift cards which I gather have replaced gift vouchers and he was using the discount vouchers again when using the gift card/voucher to get a double discount. I complained about that scam though so hopefully they will have tightened up the rules this year lol. ATB

I've no discount vouchers left but I have a couple of £5 off vouchers which were inside the limited edition classics boxes redeemable against a purchase of the biggest box of classics. I'll get one for my sister (birthday looming) and one for myself. Thanks for reminding me as I think those vouchers expire soon. LOL That envelope used to contain your divi cheque as well as the discount vouchers. Maybe next year. Take care x
