Our biggest problem is the vaccination program in Ecuador.
The vaccination rate has been increased, but will still take another 520 days, to vaccinate 10% of the population.
They have a health system which means that many people cannot return to work, and this is affecting all industry across the country.
Will post Reuters report below. I think this is to the point, and maybe explains why the country is suffering in it's industrial and commercial sectors. Just because we are doing well in the UK, Ecuador is not.

Morning JG1964, my accuracy is over 90%. For 8 years I have been listening to a bid is imminent, or I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend. I have explained why no bid is on the horizon, and only I and a few posters on here understand this. It's the resource, the diverse book. The mechanics of a bid, and the defence we employ. The people on here who consistently tell me, that this cannot go to production as Solgold, have been consistently wrong. We have a fair number of frauds on here. Who seem plausible. I also have been taken in by them. I consider Solgold to a good Copper Gold play, but it's going to take time to play out. I am sure the numpties on here can correct my grammar and spelling. I am more interested in what the company is saying, not what people on here want, which seems to be a quick profit, with no understanding of the fundamentals.

Again Zoros, you don't listen, it was me that said why had MRE 2 at Alpala dropped from 0.3 to 0.2 and I was told I didn't know what I was talking about, and everyone on here accepted the 0.2 figure. So now you have found a geologist that agrees with me, you say I don't know what I am talking about. Stop telling lies.

We should all be thankful that he has got us this far.

As for the diverse book, it's not my bible, but an understanding that experienced investors have, that have seen what happens to companies with and without a diverse book.
I know you are older than me, and I have been doing this 40 years now. I am guessing you have not been investing and making money for as long as I have, otherwise you would at least understand my arguments.

The diverse book does not make a bid impossible. ( I have never said that )
What it does is protect against low bids, as the larger parties have to agree the price.
I wish you luck, as am aware of your age, and that you want a quick return.
But don't let this cloud your judgement.
Listen to the company and it's officers, not speculation.

Ssmith_trader, do you know how broker notes work, they collate all info, RNS and such and offer opinion.
They offer opinion. Companies use brokers to put a positive spin on the company.

No Padmaster, as I have said many times, all that is posted on here is opinion, including mine, however broker notes have proved time and time again to offer the most inaccurate opinion on Solgold.
We have had broker notes suggesting all opinions, each being the opposite of other broker notes.
I remember when we were 26 pence a share, we had a broker note predicting £1.10
They are opinion and nothing more.
I cannot think of one occasion when broker notes have got it right, apart from when they post so many opinions, one proves correct, and then everyone starts shouting that this or that broker was spot on.
If I took notice of broker notes, I would still be working.
