Smickster I have worked as a technical analyst for decades and I can tell you that technical documentation of over 1000 pages to be translated from one language to another can take a team of people over six months, and you still end up with errors.

I have no idea how big the documentation was but over a year is not unusual.

You cannot run it through Google translate.

Solgold is not badly run.

We have gone from hole five to a world class deposit.

We have had to contend with COVID and political change.

The only people on here who think it's badly run, are those that don't understand that this company is in it's growing phase.

We should all await the strategic review to see the next step and stop this completely ridiculous idea that people are going to bid for us.

Seriously if anyone says we are going to be bought, then they should back it up with who is going to buy us and between what price range.

Then they should back it up as to how they have come to their conclusions.

The likes of certain people on here have been screaming infestor, deramper and other insults for years, but have added nothing to the debate on Solgolds way forward.

However two of the three companies that forced Chinese investors to sell were Ultra Lithium and Lithium Chile, which both have mines outside North America.

It's a criminal offence to sell a mineral company listed on TSX to the Chinese.
It comes under national security.
Already 3 Chinese companies have had to sell their holdings in TSX listed companies since November 22.
Their is an article in the financial times two days ago, but it's behind a paywall.
But Reuters and other financial periodicals have printed articles on the situation.

People here are missing the salient point.
Solgold cannot be sold to the Chinese while listed on TSX.
It's not they would be delisted.
It's a criminal offence and would be prosecuted.
So if we see Solgold delisting on TSX, then for me that would be evidence that we are going to be sold.

Pbow a FTA takes ages to fully implement.
It's not just about trade, it's about access to each others countries and on what terms.
It covers political institutions and cooperate takeovers,
It also excludes sectors deemed necessary to Defense and national interest.
Tariffs are a small but important part.
There is a lot more to a FTA.

Pbow what are you on about.
When a free trade deal first happens its a bare bones document.
Not everything is included.
For example how do we know mining is included, and if so what are the conditions.

Pbow when any free trade agreement is signed with a country that didn't have one in place already.
It is the start of a long process.
Ratification isn't the problem.
It's how it's adjusted over the interim period to sort out any unintended consequences .
That can take year's.
