Unless I've missed it it's a long long time since they told us how much they actually have in the bank, and I don't see it here. When they are doing a raise at such a price they really should. Worries me. Sorry, folks.
Lots of interest to us in this:

Looks like the qualification plant has opened, which is good news. 24M gets a good mention, though we don’t. But having worked with 24M for years we are in a good position, I think, for all these plants.
Looks like someone went in early with a 30k share purchase, in bits. Nice. Hopefully I'm in too, though not on that scale.
I also hold Tekcapital (TEK), which is similar but with fewer holdings, and seems to me at a good price point now. [Tbh I'm longing for one of their company's products to hit the UK market (it's expanding very fast into the US food market now): microsalt is superfine ground salt that gives the same saltiness with half the amount, and nothing that isn't NaCl. My BP is waiting with bated breath and it seems to me to have huge potential. Sorry if this seems like advertising, just trying to be helpful - I don't mind suggestions, esp on a quiet board. I follow good people. I got told off once for mentioning Aussie Silex on the IQE board - but, goodness, it was a good buy.]
Rats, and thank you!
And today it’s plummeting.
Yes, I topped up too - on the 1st Feb.
I get that they need the money (but hope they are not paying themselves too much - and this makes me wonder). And that while my portion may be smaller the cake is bigger.
What I do question is the string of good news RNS's that strangely didn't move the price - why I topped up - and then the raise for the buddies at such a low price.
AND I had no opportunity to be part of that.
I've already topped up so I can't do so again. I'm holding as I think microsalt has huge potential. But as others have said the trust is broken. I'm no expert in how companies work, but I get the feeling I know what they think of me.
Sadly I now think the same about them. Pity.
Agreed. I'm in now. As you say it's not cheap, but looks to be in a promising spot, and the level of director buying is encouraging. Tbh I can't remember how it came to notice - which maybe says it all.
Well, bought in today. According to Stockopedia at the moment this is the only UK share to qualify for Jim Slater's Zulu screen. That has a return of 175% over 5 years and which is I think the best return by a mile of the screens they run. [The best of the rest I could see was 59%].
Just noticed this. Looks very good, but tbh I'm no accountant. One question though: with one person owning so much, and only 3% outside the top 10 holders, what effect and/or dangers does that have?
Lovely, we bought Glanaco for entirely other purposes, and now it's producing significant income!
"Acquisition of engineering services company for £1.1 million to assemble Microtox®PD in-house.....
.... The acquisition brings the testing, assembly and commissioning of new generation of Microtox®PD (real-time pathogen detection in wastewater) in-house."
Well, this afternoon was a fortunate time to double my holding! (Tbh I'm down so much it didn't cost a lot....)
Bought in June '20 so I'm up nearly a third here, but couldn't resist a top up today. I'm usually wrong, but have always felt the potential of MicroSalt/Salarius is HUGE. The news flow has been great, but what happens when the hospitals get hold of this? The nutritionists preparing patients for discharge? The GPs? There are just so many older people [like me] who need this. Word only needs to get out. It would/will save the NHS billions.
Almost everyone could do with lowering our salt intake. From the portfolio update on Salarius last July: "Our new patented technology produces salt crystals that are approximately one hundred times smaller than typical table salt, delivering a powerful saltiness as the micro-grains dissolve in the mouth, with approximately 50% less sodium consumption." You need half as much.
Now from the FDA on sodium (ie salt) consumption a year ago: "However, most Americans eat too much of it—and they may not even know it. Americans eat on average about 3,400 mg of sodium per day. However, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends adults limit sodium intake to less than 2,300 mg per day—that's equal to about 1 teaspoon of table salt!"
So using MicroSalt would take you below the limit. No pain, all the gain. Tastes the same.
Have you salt and eat it!
I don't know what it will cost. But if it's less than twice as much as regular salt and you need half as much it will still save you money! And if it's more.... well, I'll bet it's cheaper than a hospital visit.
Thanks for all the reminders and updates Rivaldo.
Tbh I expected another acquisition a long time back. They are very very patient I think. On this subject in September: "Acquisitions and future strategy. There is a significant degree of instability across the UK economy and consequently we are seeing an increase in potential investment opportunities. Not surprisingly we have reviewed a number of businesses where the continuing uncertainty in relation to energy costs is a particular challenge. Our preference is for investments in companies where we can make a substantive change to effect a turnaround, but high energy costs are not something we can influence. We believe some good opportunities will emerge, but timing is critical and the current macroeconomic and geopolitical situation make that issue very challenging."
OK, maybe it will be even longer. However with the gas prices falling a lot recently, and coming through the winter, maybe there is light on the horizon. Ukraine could however go on for quite a time.
Likewise, Carrots. Took profits almost at the top, but then bought back in far too early. Now it's got to be the last input, but it's 1/3 of the price of the last buy. IF they survive I can't see how this won't be a great place to have bought. The IP has to be worth something.
:)
Thank you Rivaldo. That’s really useful information, that many of us would not have grasped on our own.
“Silly Billies”! Long time since I heard that one :-)
J'espere demain. Mardi? Why no update yet? Last year was 11th Jan, a Tuesday.
But meantime the SP is breaking upwards a bit.
Maybe not to trade?
