DonoLad sounds like you did exactly the same as me! I ditched the dreaded Darktrace and moved over here … first at 75p with a top up at 1.30. Best decision I’ve made and my largest holding . I was also planning to exit at 3 but I’m still here and will be for the significant future. Now hoping my other travel shares start to pay off, I’m feeling very positive

I agree Sundezana … it’s been held down for too long now, one things for certain it can’t stay at these level’s forever and now the results are out I can’t see it going down. Travel shares in general have been extremely frustrating… the day will definitely come I’m sure … patience is definitely the key here

@buzz I’ve just taken a small position with IAG as I think it has potential. Just flown back from SA with BA and the flight was full in every class. T5 at LHR was the busiest I’ve seen it. The travel sector is still dragging its heels a bit but I think that will be short lived.

@silverfoil13 sounds fabulous! We’ve just had a week in Camps Bay and are now in Paternoster. Heading to Franschoek on Saturday after a few days in the cederberg mountains. We came last year and loved it so much decided to come back this time for 3 weeks. Business class is amazing… we travelled Premium… but if RR keep raising we’ll definitely be upgraded next time 🤣🤣 Enjoy your holiday

You know when you’re on holiday and all the days just blend together and you’ve no clue what day of the week it is? Well my husband and I are currently in South Africa and we’ve just been sat waiting for the markets to open and thinking we had connection issues! Then I realised it was bloody Saturday! 🤣🤣 🤣 Gave us a good laugh if nothing else 🤣🤣🤣

NTC totally understand.. I’ve been here since 75p at the end of the day there is no right or wrong way of investing as long as you aren’t losing money of course , everyone will have a different strategy and everyone’s circumstances are different, a lot of money to one person may not be a lot to another. The decisions I’ve made with RR have worked for me so far … I’ve had some investments that didn’t work as well and I learned from those. I never fall in love with a share anymore.

Don’t forget last time the results were due Tufan made a trading announcement a couple of days before which took us by surprise. I also sold yesterday and bought back today, all be it a 305 but only a fool thinks they can find the bottom, however a profit is a profit at the end of the day. Not sure I’ll risk doing it again leading up to results just in case we get an early surprise … my fomo won’t let me !

personally i thought peakd was quite bold to make his warning statement. and to be fair ****nal17 if you're not interested it's probably best not to comment as when you do make comments like that it just comes across as being rude. different strokes for different folks and all that. after all everyone is here to make money and how they do it is entirely up to them.

Agree Peakdread. And it's not necessarily day trading either. Selling say 7000 shares at 312 and buying them back at 305 makes you close on £400 profit. Yes there's a risk of course, but it's also the reason share prices go up and down throughout the day. It's called taking advantage of the movement in order to make a profit. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't . I'm LT here too and have been in since 75p. It's been consolidating between 3 and 310 for quite some time now so we shall see. ATB

Bobocaca… top tip never fall in love with a share! Sadly trading this share is the only way to make money at the moment. It regularly moves between 10 and 30p When you commit to buying a stock you always want to be right … but sometimes you’ve just got to cut your losses and trade it to win them back. I think Dark may well come good in time but I’m not prepared to sit and watch the money I initially invested not work for me. That’s how the markets work .. and you’ll never beat them so you may as well join them ! This stock is currently a traders dream
