For income on a quarterly basis. Even considering the dividend reduction that is now rising nicely my overall gain far out ways capital growth. Anyone who bought during Covid or even Deepwater Horizon and has held will have done nicely.
Ive bought these on a monthly basis for many years, is the share price really that important. I would be just as happy at 350p. Once it gets towards 600p it gives me problems.
Hi Eccles, This basically represents the balance from the consolidation of the GSK shares ie 20% of your previous holding prior to the value from the end of last week.
It can take time for the fallout from the placement to settle. I would expect most of the dilution to be absorbed soon. Stability probably not far away until the next fund raising round of course.
