However, you must have seen it over and over again people instilling fear and encouraging sells, for the SP to then shoot up upto 1000% (not directed at you btw).

As you quite rightly said do your research and go with it. Everyone invests differently, I personally don't trade and look at a longer term. eg in at NCYT at 47 and haven't sold a been since but have added a long the way. I have heard numerous people saying they have tried to trade it and missed the 100-150p jumps. If I knew how to do it I would probably give it a go with a different pot.. I research and also listen to few well researched posters, filter out the **** and stick with my investment.
