Mine same as you Sense.
Nothing showing as yet and paid into ISA last time, listed as Return of Capital
No split given, but Laser predicted 533K in July & 539K in October = 1.072M barrels. Which is bang on.
So December lift delayed until Jan isn't in this, so hopefully 3 lifts in the next payment, so might be around .9p
Great work Laser
MPBUK just checked my HL account and have received the 6.02p in 2 payments.
Voted (no) and was allowed 2 lots of votes for each item, assuming for shares within ISA and those outside.
Also wrote to the court, however should there be a hearing, will write again once a judge is appointed.
Can I say thanks to the individuals, for the good work in fighting for the small investor, you know who you are, it is appreciated.
Went on HUR website to read back on various RNS for fact for my letter to judge.
Clicked on the HUR "about us" page and lists their 5 values, which I had to laugh at
STRAIGHFORWARD we keep it simple Having been an investor for years, nothing they have done is simple
INGENIOUS we see what others miss Must be a typo, should read we miss what others see
TENACIOUS we never give up Sorry isn't HUR proposing a deal that will make them extinct
COLABORATIVE the whole is greater than the sum on its parts Unless you are a small investor, you don't count
LOGICAL it all adds up But only on the BODs calculator.
Anagram of SITCL is C*its, just about sums it up.
E mail sent to all
It would make sense to send the no votes only, as any other vote would be assumed to be a yes.
Or is it that they only count the yes as they need 75% of total shares to be yes and all un voted shares are assumed no.
or am i talking rubbish :)
Littlened, I have half in this years ISA and half outside. I could sell and buy into ISA, but there are previous notes on this board that once the sale goes through and HUR is de listed, then the funds may not be able to remain in the ISA.
However thanks for that, as have been so focused on the deal, forgot about the new tax year option.
For Income tax purposes on shares held outside of an ISA, will these payouts be classed as normal Dividends thus taxable or not.
If so after your £2k allowance each year we will be losing 8.75% or 33.75% or 39.35% depending on your Tax Band.
Add my 532K to the no vote please
I checked on the cases being heard at court and saw HUR listed for 10.30 am. Do not know if it went ahead, or if it did what the outcome was as this info will not be updated until later today.
Court case to approve (or not) was scheduled for 10.30 today, should be an RNS by close today, I would think.
But they might only say the result of the court case, but would hope for a bit more information on whether moving forward or deferring Capital return. This is HUR so probably very limited info will be given and with a pessimistic spin.
Ample not arguing, someone said they couldn't find the email sent by HL. Infact HL denied it. Found mine and sent the content.
Think it is more a case of HL jumping the gun / poorly written notification.
HUR have done exactly what hey said they will, and have not updated as yet, and wouldn't expect them to until after it has been to court.
My betting is they will defer any decision until the bid assessments are completed and whether a bid is to be recommended to the share holders. Expect an update of some kind after the court hearing. But even that may advise of outcome.
Locheelad I had the e mail on 19th Jan and kept a copy. Said as follows
Dear Mr A
Hurricane Energy plc has announced a return of capital.
Subject to court approval on 31 January 2023, shareholders at the close of business on the same date will receive a return of capital payment. This is expected to be 3.1p per ordinary share held although not yet confirmed.
The return of capital is expected to be paid on or around 1 February 2023. We will contact shareholders following the return of capital to confirm the payment.
If you have any queries regarding this matter please do not hesitate to contact us.

Just had an e mail from Hargreaves to say that subject to court approval a return of capital payment is expected to be paid on or around 1st Feb, expected to be 3.1p although not yet confirmed.
So what is everyones bet on when we might get some numbers / a recommendation from the board
CA have a seat on the board.
But must have made the decision base on that they are happy with the progress of the sale process to date, and will review in Feb if the process falls down. Obviously not privy to bid offer then.
CA could be happy with the bid value of one of the offers and want to see if that plays out 1st.
If not progressed sufficiently by Feb, then call for another General Meeting.
Makes it sound like we have loads of offers but they are all rubbish.
Yes agree Gloucester, quite positive, money in bank, well still performing, lots of offers on the table, hopefully to start a bidding war. But among all this Maris still manages to dampen the mood by including
"There can be no certainty as to the level of any offers resulting from the FSP, if any. Hurricane will provide further updates in due course" and "We continue our work on the FSP which we are focused on bringing to a successful conclusion, albeit there can be no certainty as to its outcome. We are pleased by the strong interest we have seen thus far"
