I am aware of all the things you have said. The facts that so many European countries have joined Nato, indicated that Russia wasn't that nice. But on this particular occasion, Russia has a genuine concern of national security posed by the west. Too close for comfort.

Based on the same logic, African countries are siding with Russia because they hated the west for exploitation of their countries. In another words, what Russia had done to Europe, the west did the same in Africa., Asia and South America., Central America and the middle east. That is why now they all wanted to join BRICS.

You must be joking. The US is the number 1 weapon exporter. They have been at war practically with everybody , for most of the time the last 200 years. Talking about vietnam and carpet bombings, who dumps thousands of toxic chemicals in Vietnam and other things. After over 40 years , people are still suffering from it.

The point is, no Mr nice guys when at war. There is no nice ways of killing people. For goodness sake, get out of your mindset. Think of peace for people ( Ukraine and Russia). Politicians are your enemy.

@ Troajan & Solo- Just think, whatever Russia is doing to Ukraine , right or wrong, The west has done the same to other countries. No surprises there. Think of the middle East recently. Syria, Libya ....Niger ( recently) CAN THESE COUNTRIES MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS?
