Profit takers on the crack news. No surprises. It wasn't that long ago we were in the late 60's. Whether brent is 61 or 66 we have some stability from OPEC and the market loves stability. Rerate ? Not 'alf !
Potty has has a haircut (not the trading type) and found a new 'Crew' gillet in a Forres charity shop for £4: feeling gooood !)
Nighty Night all
185 at ~14.00hrs on Fri.
After the hedgies et al took their (v. nice) profits last weeks we can press on hopefully above that 189 sticking point. Traditional Santa rally due this year ??

Morning. Well CHAR is definately on my list. TLW as you may know is with CHAR on the Cormorant
Drillahill on the CHAR bb noted (Fri 07:10):
"...he only third party Drilling in Walvis Basin to be done in 2H18 is the Cormorant well by Tullow Oil and ONGC, so we're currently in talks with them.
http://www.oedigital.com/drilling/rigs/item/16613-tullow-plans-namibian-probe-for-september-2018
Our prospect S (Central Blocks) is 4 times greater (459mmbbls) compared to Cormorant (124mmbls) and our follow on potential is 2.5 times greater (2.2bnbbls). Also the chance of success for S is very high with 29%. We estimate costs to drill S to be as low as US$20m to US$25m. Tullow estimated costs to drill Cormorant to be ~US$35m. Discussions and negotiations with Tullow & ONGC to reduce those costs may also result in a farmin of Tullow and ONGC to our Central Blocks."
Unfortunately I may have missed the boat on MATD with it's unfortunate and premature rise this morning (could be just a common or garden spike though) !!! However CHAR is behaving -so far. I will look at buying in after Christmas.
Great guns TLW. As another poster mentioned this morning debt is being reduced (~200 mill in Jan). The picky will want divi's but I can wait ! atb
Sure beats Penile Dementia, i think.
Good to see those stocking filler trips have burned up a glut; the sp was certainly looking rather limp and flaccid yesterday.

Your'e spot on it is a bit cheeky (pardon the pun). A very quick google flick revealed an article from March 2016 when EU tightened up rules regarding disclosure plus examples of smack bottoms administered to hedgies.
Snowing outside in Inverness anorak at the ready.

I had more hair back in the 70's. Now I have difficulty in deciding where to stop shaving.
Tentative double bottom on the day. Profit takers had had their fill ?
We've had a good run from ~168 so i'm expecting some profit take. Anyway a few car journeys for those 'stocking fillers' will soon burn up any glut !
Morning entertainment: Seeing the super rampers over on PXOG get pasted !
