Wow- didn't expect such a good rise considering the ftse 100 is down. Maybe folks are returning now things are more settled.

As for short squeezes, i've had a few in my time behind the bar at the 'Arms. Long squeezes are much preferable, especially with Gladys Pugh. A man can dream. Time for a Vimto before The Phil Silvers Show.

Seeing as hedge funds regularly disappear like a windblown Tizer can into a hedgerow (up front charges and 20% of the profits, quite often. It;s the punters who foot the mistakes. We hit ~26 not so long ago imo looks like sp being held down until after 12th. In the meantime it would be nice for brent to rise a little more. GL

Looks as though our sp is holding up. I can't imagine much 'big money'/ ii's returning for a while; though brent is going much better than I expected, especially with this new virus strain and the new lockdown. I guess all kinds of investors are holding back in case yet another strain appears and the whole house of cards gets kicked again.
I break even at 55. I'll give it another year. If brent stays good but we don't budge much then i'll review things.. ii's will love the debt pile reduction though- surely. Steady as she goes. GLA

Didn't expect such a rise. Thought things would be doom and gloom on the FTSE for a while. I guess bargain hunters are deploying their shorts money to work on the long side; I know I would if I were savvier. GLA
