I'd apply for more shares than I'm allowed to if the directors had more "skin in the game". One of my long term worst performers this so I'm not throwing good money after bad.
Similar for me. I'm out for half my holdings at £4.10. Wish I'd have taken a large slice off at £6.8 but hindsight and all that. I've still some in the game and nearly sold all out at £3.8 earlier last year so I'm still up but putting some cash in a less voltaile stock for a while.
You weren't the only one to take a profit at that time - I did the same. I've been a LTH when it's been down at 20p so I top-sliced around £3 and then £5 to get my original cash investment out. What I've got left is now for free. I wish I hadn't sold out as many shares but I'm still sitting on a healthy profit for which I'm very grateful for. I did start to curse the fact I don't hold them in a shares ISA but the CGT limit did stop me from selling a much larger chunk towards the middle of last year for which I'm now very grateful for!
From looking at ITM's job postings a fwe weeks ago they were looking for a Head of After Sales Support. Notably "...commissioning of all electrolyser module installations - 30 moving to 100 installations a year [From one install every 9 days to one install every 2.6 days". Does anyone know which projects these might be related to? The job is now no longer on the website so either the position has been filled or the projects lost... Only 3 live vacancies showing now.
Thanks for that post, explains the rise perfectly. I've sold a few chunks on the way up to reduce my exposure to one major stoc k as the value has rocketed from where I started at. Some days at 12p I was thinking I'd found another QFI. However this company is different and with this news from you I'm keeping the rest for a very long time to come. Hopefully the company will start to get the exposure it deserves.
candc: A quick question. Who would you recommend for a share dealing service with "live" prices? I'm with the Halifax but the only "live" price you get is when you are at the point where you want to sell/buy. Not great as you have to hit the "Trade" button repeatedly to update prices which expire every 15 seconds. I've looked at Hargreaves Lansdown who seem reasonable on charges, no annual fee/inactivity fee etc. I may dip a small toe into day trades but I'd suspect trying to day trade with 15 minute price delays would be almost impossible so I've kept well clear. Doing well on ITM up to now but I'm concerned as it's now a greater proportion of my overall holdings than I'd like so may take some profits.
I'm a long term holder but fraud isn't too much of a surprise. At my local Vauxhall dealership in the North West the body shop was regularly used for doing "cash-in-hand" body repairs at the weekend using all of Lookers' facilities but kept "off the books". A few of my friends had their cars repaired there. It's under different ownership now, though - not Lookers. I suppose if those at the bottom are getting away with it, there's probably plenty up the tree doing the same.
I agree, just wish I had some spare cash to buy in at this price. The last time I did was at the large - but short - drop in the middle of the Macondo oil well blowout when they were firing used golf balls down the well to stem the flow. People said BP wouldn't recover but here we are still paying a divi. I'm sitting tight but I didn't think we'd ever be this low again.
I agree. I've been sat looking at this share long enough when it was closer to 12p wondering if it was ever going to rise. I'm in it for the long term, not short term so I will be sitting quietly and let this ill wind blow by. I started with nothing so anything more is a bonus. Day traders make their money their way, I'll do it my way.
