Chickenfriedrice it intrigues me that you used to have high powered jobs. I’d have thought RM wouldn’t employ you because they’d think you’d get bored. (My girlfriend would like the same but as she’s a lawyer she gets rebuffed.) As for delivering mail in the dark; when I started on delivery in 1997 (when there was two deliveries) we’d be at houses before light and used to be issued with torches. But I do agree that later deliveries are rubbish. It should revert to really early when people are still in. We’d start our duties at 5:15 having got to work traffic-free, and be home for lunch time to be able to do anything after. Happy days…..
20% for the posties? What about us poor shareholders?
It’s goodwill.
Please then I’ve broke even…..
Maximas1: just a minor query, last night in your 22:15 post you said “ I posted the article as there a little more nice about them”. I can’t for the life of me understand that. Could you elaborate please?
You’d better tell Kretinsky, he’s not spent £400m for nothing!
Ah but people can be mischievous and do their own trade for 911 shares.
Green bin for you I’m afraid.
Haha! Same here Layla but only 3 for me.
What price ARB then?
It IS 30 actual days, not 30 working days?
BoldlyGo, what has your post to do with BRICS?
OliGarch, I agree but in this day and age you’d think there’d be a better solution other than relying on the individual overworked Postie to do it.
I’m thinking as addresses and postcodes are machine-read then said machines could be programmed to eject mail that’s to be redirected. The ejected mail would then go in trays to the delivery offices whereupon they can be redirected without fail. This could be done by the PHGs thus bypassing the individual posties. This must be possible surely?
RT003, the same happened to me (and I know how it works). I kept in touch with the old postie who was spot on and he told me the relief Postie was to blame as he didn’t like being told what to do. I did mention this during my complaint phone calls. Eventually I found Simon Thompson on Linkedin, contacted him who got one of his minions to investigate. I got a refund. But you’d think in this day and age that some other system could be incorporated to make these errors cease.
C’mon then Torino, tell us how many you’ve got……
What IS the free float Sharebel? I did ask the other day but no answer was the firm reply…
Do we know how tiny the float is?
The SP got to .71 last year on the possibility of an oil strike. Surely it’ll go higher with the present possibilities?
So based on those figures what should our SP get to? Any guesses?
