Took the market a little while to grasp the last RNS. Probably a period of calm for a period of time now. Unless some money drops in from the courts.

It is probably not unexpected that there was going to be a slippage on the 2026 target date. FIG alone had far too much to put in place to make it possible.

What is important, is that all parties involved seem to be be working together to achieve a common goal.

As I understand it, the UKGOV authority regarding an Oil Industry operation in the Falklands must be signed off by the UKGOV Home Secretary. I might be wrong on this point.

The MLA's of the Falkland Islands held a public meeting last night, one of the questions from the floor was. Are they ready for Oil?, in response, the MLA's stated that they recognised there was much to do and prepare, such as, recruiting and beefing up administration staff and drafting appropriate legislation. However, they would and will be ready.
