Highlights
§ E38/3775 covers more than 50km of strike length of the highly prospective Ernest Giles Yilgarn Craton Archean greenstone belt, with very limited previous exploration
§ The existing land access agreement covers the new tenement and allows on-ground activities this year as part of Greatland's broader Ernest Giles Project program
§ Geologically, the complexity of the structure on the Mount Smith tenement combined with favourable lithologies, makes it ideal for the formation of structurally controlled orebodies as seen throughout the Eastern Goldfields
Greatland Managing Director, Shaun Day, commented:
"The granting of the Mount Smith tenement at our Ernest Giles prospect more than doubles our exploration ground in the underexplored and highly prospective Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
"Ernest Giles has been a priority project for Greatland, and especially so since agreeing land access last year. Accordingly, we are delighted to increase the size and prospectivity of our ground there which enhances our opportunity for a discovery at Ernest Giles.
"We are busy working on an updated Ernest Giles exploration program, incorporating geophysical surveys at Mount Smith. Our intent is to commence a substantial drilling program on the Meadows prospect at Ernest Giles in the second half of this year."
@dai,
I think yje answer to those questions in order is
Yes, yes &... probably!
The natives are getting restless over on ORR.
But it's nowt to do with the gold grades...
More to do with their funder..
Funnily enough..... there has been a shareholder fallout over at UFO over a similar arrangement.
I mentioned ORR over on KAV yesterday as KAV are where ORR were prior to their maiden JORC albeit KAV do have more money that they can control how and when its spent.
Rock chip samples are never a fair representative of true grade as you are somewhat cherry picking vs drill core assays which give a representation across the full width of the intersections which is why drill core samples can be used in resource modelling, wheres soil and grab samples are used to identify potential drill targets.
Those results at ORR certainly confirm they are hunting in the right place!
@Dai
Well It's bounced 10% up from the lows.
just watching it atm.
I noticed our neighbours lifezone metals flew up 15% yesterday and their market cap is now £618m
Vs our £1.5m market cap here.
Once the BoD restructuring is complete, I'm looking forward to the media and PR as developments here are flying well under the radar at present.

@Prof
Certainly intriguing to see who they bring in.
Given we are advised that they ate 'well advanced' it isn't likely to be long until news lands here shortly and we find out.
I do like the idea of a 'Dream Team' of Board members who have been involved with companies that have gone onto 100 x bag in the past.
Certainly wouldn't rule out the likes of PJ, Gervaise Heddle and Co repeating something similar from this crazy low valuation.
The thing with 88e is I guess is whether this placing will be a bit like when PANR raised 22m last May and everyone was annoyed as they raised on the lows... so then the SP drifted down further..... then when good news finally landed the SP was so low at that point its flown back up 200% recently.
Hard to say, but I'll be following it closely.
Either way.... they still keep being given the money.
Raise, raise and raise again. :-)))
Must admit that made me chuckle
He is right though..
It's a good start and they have lots of targets to go at.
Ultimately they will need to focus on the very best prospects and then start to do some definition drilling to work up an initial Maiden Resource Estimate.
Once they have that initial JORC resource with further exploration target upside will should firmly underpin the share price at far higher levels.
ORR managed to model up their initial resource of 375,000oz Au from a fairly modest drill program of
Just 6,685 metres of drilling across 54 holes. With a 1km strike length to a max depth of 264m.
Since they modelled that drill data from the 54 holes into an initial pit shell model and set out how they hope to repeat this again it has really helped to push the SP up over the past 6 months.
If BT can work towards identifying a number of potential pit shells and then just get one modelled up with the prospects of further multiple zones to develop the SP will take can of itself and many other funding options will open up to expand the company at scale.
Warrant accelerator up at 0.5p will release further cash into the company & will be just over a 5 x bagger initially from the present SP so should be the first target here for holders.
It shouldn't take much volume to see a 1m m/cap cap zoom up to 5m m/cap once news starts to land.
Thanks for sharing @Prof1.
> Our neighbours in Tanzania 'Lifezone metals PLC also have a undeveloped Nickel Sulfide Deposit.
They listed on the New York stock exchange just last year and trade around the £600m market cap level.
https://nickel.com/news/lifezone-metals-surges-on-new-nickel-discovery-at-kabanga/
Their Kabanga Nickel Sulfide Deposit shows the potential in Tanzania for a truly global scale tier 1 deposit discovery to be made.
Work at Kataro's Haneti project (Nickel, Platinum Group Metals, copper, gold, lithium and rare earth elements has only scratched the surface, where very early stage exploration has revealed an 80 km long ultramafic belt with grades from surface sampling of up to 13.6% nickel and 2.33 g/t combined platinum and palladium.
Should Haneti go on to prove up to be another Kabanga style deposit..
What are we looking at valuation wise?
BTW... Lifezone received their license a couple of weeks ago for their processing plant to be set up in Tanzania and are expecting their DFS in Q3 2024.
https://lifezonemetals.com/lifezone-metals-announces-receipt-of-licence-from-government-of-tanzania-for-the-kabanga-nickel-project-multi-metal-processing-facility-at-kahama/
Simply MASSIVE valuation gap to be closed here if Heneti starts to look like an analogue of the Kananga Deposit.

Rare to see that level of personal commitment, from both domestic life, and financial point of view.
Hard to argue that he isn't all in and full skin in the game.
Good to it it starting to pay off
David,
I noticed you over in KAT.. smart move.
Paul Johnson and Gervaise Heddle (the old GGP crew) are both getting involved in Katoro.
I've done well following GH into GGP & ONDO & GSCU.. ...all have multibagged
No idea who the new KAT CEO is going to be.. but market is unaware of this little 1.4m market cap company as they've done no media for over a year whilst restructuring the business
Recent oversubscribed cash raise at 0.01p and cash held basically covers the full market cap and suspect a new exploration asset(s) is about to be transferred into the comp in exchange for some shares, then new ceo then a load of PR etc.... then whoosh.
Warrant accelerator up at 0.5p would release a further £1.25m cash & would be just over a 5 x bagger (500% rise) from the present SP and wouldn't take much volume to see a 1m m/cap cap zoom up to 5m m/cap.
Especially with the backing of 2 (or possibly more) of the old GGP crew in there. Gervaise Heddle & PJ.
Once news lands, no chance picking them up this cheap.
Could easily be a 10 x by June from present levels.
GL.
@Dai
I just started buying a few tranches last week.
Tro had mentioned them previously and I was waiting to see if there would be a temporary dip below the 1p placing and there has been and then Tro called the floor last week so I have started to add a few tranches to get a position ahead of news.
@Kev... I agree.. most of the recent spin out of assets from POW are capitalised at £10-15m market cap.
So if PJ has already identified something to transfer into KAT it looks good to me for a few bags also.
Like the fact his old mate Gervaise Heddle from GGP is happy to load up at 1p also.
Base Resources and Energy Fuels have reached a binding agreement for Energy Fuels, a US-based uranium and critical minerals producer, to acquire 100% of the issued shares in Base Resources by way of scheme of arrangement.
Base Resources shareholders to receive 0.0260 Energy Fuels common shares plus an unfranked special dividend of A$0.065 for each Base Resources share held, equating to total consideration of approximately A$0.302 per share. Represents a premium to Base Resources' last closing price of 188%, and a premium to the 20-day VWAP of Base Resources shares of 173%.
@LW
Not sure if you heard the Sunday roast podcast over the weekend?
Ben Turney was getting a lot of praise for the work he has been doing to advance KAV.
