No need to visit with POQ because he does not listen and / or understand what 50+ years of investment experience has taught me. As I have mentioned in the old days I would made an effort to change things as I did many years ago, but too old to try and sense most shareholders are happy to chat and hold.
I have felt for years POQ should be entitled to a salary in the $200-300k range, given the generous option structure he has. At $600-700k, his options should be no more than 20% of his current options. Thanks for your comment. Poods
This is a garbage research similar to trick photography. A credible photograph of FOG currently is, a miniscule company spending too much on management while fortunately owning an interest in a potentially lucrative gas play in Australia.

Appreciate your continued excellent input. Of course time will tell the answer, but based on a number of things, I added 100,000 shares of FOG this morning, bringing me up to 2.5 million. Don't know where we go from here, but promised to tell the board when I completed this 500,000 shares add. Don't think POQ has bought a share? Correct me if I am wrong.

Appreciate your explanation, but would make a single additional comment regarding POQ and the R/S matter. Whether it was or was not going to be beneficial, which neither of us could prove until it in fact happened, I will repeat the reason for persistence, which some friends and others, say should be my middle name, is POQ never told shareholders what I believe is the real reason for not recommending it, is the fact FOG did not meet the financial requirements, instead of his excuse. Unfortunately, my efforts to find either via telephone or email, a person at one of several regulatory agencies in Canada, has not resulting in anyone even understanding the question. POQ on the otherwise knows the answer, but refuses to tell at least me the answer, as it might reflect poorly on him, which is unfortunate itself, as if our balance sheet is underfunded, it not his fault totally. That said, if in fact we are / were underfunded and when I initially asked FOG was ~30p, the opportunity to refresh the balance sheet was lost. Ask him the question about the requirements etal, as he never would answer the question and is the reason he stopped speaking to me. If I had been on his board and heard from a shareholders what I just explained, I would told POQ, the right response was to acknowledge the request by answering the question any shareholder could have asked. Think that about completes it on my end. You ask him!

Am a little disappointed in your comment with regards my efforts. However as mentioned previously, have been involved in a number of management changes which worked out well. The last one let me retire at age 50 and move to the mountains where I sit as I respond. I made nearly a 100 times my investment on that last venture, which I built up painfully just like this one over a number of years (13 to be exact). At this point we are in the final stages of discovery and the results will determine win or lose for those who remain. POODS
Funny.
I think at this point in this saga, some humor is in order. There are undoubtedly factors we are not privy to, but hopefully the Origin part is being handled professionally as I expect it is and we are in a waiting game. If, at this point things turn out to be basically a dry hole, then"c est la vie". If we have a significant find, issues should be addressed including determining whether all board members are appropriate for the next phase. POODS
I actually think your comment is hilarious with regards POQ and had the same thought myself, but could not decide whether is was a buy or sell! Given the level of trade cancels and corrections, the reality may be another CORRECTION LATER TODAY. If in fact it is a legitimate trade, it is meaningful if in fact someone stepped up to buy. If it turns out to be so and is the last of the selling that should be reflected in the share price soon enough. I still have a 100,000 shares left to buy to bring me up to 2.5 million shares, but have been waiting for a further decline or the large selling truly being complete . Ironic after all these years, a number of us have multiple times the holdings of POQ and most of his fellow directors. Guess we are the really believers and the board with few exceptions simply hope their options work out.

As I am unable to find the final voting totals from the recent AGM, does anyone know where to find them or better yet has them at their fingertips. I have asked POQ to send them of the company's request page, but as usual my requests are ignored. If anyone has the voting totals, I would like to see them and they will speak for themselves. POODS
Oilcountry99,
Only reason I do not have 5-10 million shares is POQ. Thanks for sharing and hopefully enough other larger holders will come forward. If you know how many negatives votes were cast at the AGM that would be nice to share. Poods
Was reading the chats this morning and was nice to see a bit of new chatter on POQ. Probably a waste of time with well news not too far off.
I have generally thought Philip followed this chat room, so he knew what was going on in his office. I sent the company a request this morning asking for a recap of all voting for this most recent AGM. If it is not provided within a day or so, my guess is either the exchange or the “SEDER” officials will ask why I did not receive the information, especially as I am a shareholder. Reviewing those results will tell me if others are interested or if I am basically the only one voting against all proposals. Hopefully, such is not the case and may, in time, be helpful information.

How many votes were cast this year against POQ and the board at the AGM, I cannot find that information. On the contrary, management seems delighted to tell us all items simply PASSED, but not how the actual voting, unless one was at the annual, if they follow parliamentary procedure? If someone can post that or provide the link to the actual voting results, perhaps there is or is not an answer to whether some shareholders are tired of the nonsense we are paying an overly excessive amount. I am the Lone Ranger on this matter? Poods

Totally agree and understand your comment re the 30%. Depending on whether it is a so-so or great field, if it proves up, Origin will be in the driver's. Despite the fact FOG will have its own investment banker, Origin will remain the most knowledgeable potential bidder, as I understand their relationship. But, before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let's wait and make sure we actually have something commercial. Poods . P.S. if you have the vote totals or how to get them I would appreciate showing the results of the last AGM.
