Anyday now, we could wake up to final drill permit news and, hopefully, an outline timetable to Hussar spud. It's been a long old wait and we LTH investors have had to be very patient, and put up with alot of rubbish from Chicken Wilf and the Chuckwagon Trolls (good name for a C&W band). Fingers crossed that that long-awaited news will be with us shortly, and that we can, at long last, get this show well and truly on the road (after it's been repaired, of course, tee hee hee!). GLA!

If anyone would like an independent company view on, for example, the prospectivity of Mt Winter in the Amadeus Basin, do a little reading into Central Petroleum who are looking to develop their Amadeus sub-salt He and H licenses over the coming 2 to 5 years, hopefully a bit behind Gex. Central is convinced there is a sub-salt He and H play there with a working system in a fractured basement if not in reservoir form too. It is also convinced these plays could be "company changing". It's also widely acknowledged Amadeus and Hussar share very similar geologies. Yes, it is prospective, but Gex are not the only believers in the He/H/HC system in the two basins. Trolls, get flipping from short to long.

Down at the chuckwagon this morning with Always, Buried, Leaky and Lethal. Bad news, I'm afraid. Deadly's been the victim of a hit and run battery electric car after he came staggering out of Spoons and failed to see or hear it. Helpers at the scene got a partial registration, last 3 letters, GEX, and that the driver looked a bit like Mick Dundee with corks dangling from his hat rim. Anyway, I went to see him at the local hospital and he's in traction. Consultant says he's making a great recovery, although his underwear was an absolute disgrace, I'm told. Seems he hasn't been taking care of himself. Anyway, looking forward to him getting back in the saddle and visiting us here again soon. We had a wip round for him at the chuckwagon and will be handing him an IOU for a pony. Well, no one carries cash anymore do they? And now he's on the liquid morphine and a bit more sober than usual, we're going to try and get him to flip his short to long, like Leaky, Buried, and Lethal are doing Monday morning in anticipation of imminent permit news.
