In love a share that creeps daily. Of late, we have started to see that here. To me it suggests that topping up is taking place by 'those that know' and the sharper upturn is to come... I could be wrong of course

The green movement is a red herring! There is NO green movement. Whatever is produced 'alternatively' is not going to touch future demand IMO. I don't think its an either or situation. I've noticed supermarkets giving lots of alternatives to cows milk the last few years...almond milk etc I don't worry that cows milk will stop selling, the demand stays, other avenues pop up..I'm sure the oil sector is looking to be fully involved in the so called 'green movement' IMO the fall is this share has had little to do with oil price but will rise with a rising poo because the timing is different from before...we're getting closer to crunch times!

I think this rise and what will be a continued one IMHO is linked with Rkh and that the one to ultimately watch is Rkh, they I believe will have the biggest upsurge, despite PMO involvement. Whereas Rkh are undervalued IMO I think Argos are impossible to value with the Nobel deal. All we really know is its a positive deal and gives us some security at present.

I always like a creeping share. Signs that many havn't caught on yet! IMO this will be a few pence higher until we get any speedy upsurge. We'll be 13p by the end of day tomorrow, we'll that's my prediction, what's yours?

It seems silly for Argos to even mention these then. I understand Rhea is seen as a big one, so it seems are main hopes pin on this. Noble have said they'll hand things back over to Argos should Rhea fail? Game playing with this going down. Got to be much higher pre-drill? From my experience with Fogl it's only supposed to drop when you strike oil! Maybe we should just drill the little targets, remove expectation and the sp might rise! Funny old game this; somebody must be winning!

More people reading between the lines of the latest deal. I think what gets lost is that Argos has options beyond Rhea to, remember the 52 targets! Beyond Rhea; there are other plays. Rhea on its own is exciting; why is this not above 10p already? I don't think it's going to be long, over 9p today.....

9p soon IMO this was oversold in the first place; obviously oil price plays a part but also fears if long term; long term now more secure with a taking part of 2015 drilling? Who would have guessed? I think the whole falklands is hitting up and soon investors are going to start playing catch up, aren't they?

Seems like a game of bluff to me. This is not going to drop back it's going to grow incrementally and then adjust to a more true value IMO. I think rather than looking back at 8p we're be a 10p any day, could be today, could be tomorrow. Deal better than realised and a drill. It actually doesn't get much better than this during this present time.

10p by the end of month and with greater insight from investors 12p! No reason for this to be held back, investors just need to wake up to it.

for me, great insight from king999 on this board and that distinction between 5% on sales not profit. You know that could amount to something significant, make no mistake. I hold some Bor but this one has become a much more sure investment. The more you read the Noble deal the better it gets and yet when I first read it, it appeared awful. Hopefully, we are on a sure footing with a chance to explore these targets and benefit from the acreage in a big way.

Got to look at the big picture to. Noble are investing during a climate when oilies have or are planning further cuts in investment. All these Falkland companies rub shoulders and the commitment from noble shows further belief in the falklands in general. We know the problems the north sea now faces, one of the sure aims of the oil price drop is now being realised; with the shale gas cut back. The low oil price will I believe act as a stimulus for the world economy, it's only a 1% oversupply! from my reading; every reason to think oil will bounce back as demand grows. This sp will surely go up come the drilling of Rhea and from thereon? I believe Noble know what they are investing in, a huge acreage with lots of oil to come out when oil is at a much higher price! If the oil price grows sooner, those drills will come thick and fast, as will the excitement their outcomes. I believe the oil price will shoot up faster than many predict; demand and greed. We've just got to be careful we don't get a Labour government! (joke)

I think the quote "We believe that success at Rhea will de-risk other prospects in the Licence”. Says it all. This is a fantastic calculated gamble because drilling earlier and if Rhea comes off then Argos and shareholders are laughing. The distinction between sales and profits is potentially huge and has been overlooked IMHO. As with Fogl I think what you sometimes get is a huge unacknowledged increase in the cap of the company when events unfold a particular way. IMO there are strides of progress being made in these Falkland companies and at an opportune time i.e. a low oil price. Lower costs involved, third parties holding a stronger hand but also the explorers making use of this situation to. This will all bore out in time especially when oil starts to rise, the true value of the sp will probably be the last to rise as it quickens to play catch up! As you say King, it's probably long-term but we've been saying that for many years.......I hope it's much sooner than we expect.

What is the advantage for shareholders? Surely BOD should spell it out! Also if noble pull out it seems like the buck is being passed. When does accountability occur? Is this just typical Aim?

Refund of a chunk of back costs incurred? For what? How much? Does this add value? Certainly seems a great deal for BODs on the one hand it gets us in the drill game but seems to also put off a bit off future success for shareholders. If things don't work out they also hand the worthless prospects back! I must be reading this wrong? Funny enough it seems a fairly good deal for us? Nothing to get too excited about at the mo though, until further detail. It all seems like a praise sandwich at the mo, every falklands positive is met with a coating either side that dampens the taste. Is the falklands project paradoxically making progress but at the same time being held back? We had the spike and then a drop back into negative territory as fogl had recently when they hit oil. These shares seem to be played to a t and that is worrying. Would be nice for shareholders to be appreciated. All my thoughts on the matter and I'm probably far off the mark!

Great post! Once this oil price recovers and with the world as it is today, it could turn on a sixpence; it will become about acreage. Oil is around the area, whom has the acreage and targets to further explore and you are 100% right. This is one of them. Bor has greater risk with potentially greater return but we're not in a market for that type of risk at present, so Bor sp going nowhere fast.

I've followed this for a few years, every now and then brought some, sold when a little higher. However, I'm buying and holding now. The potential IMO is huge, it has been an irritating share at times but the growth of the company will surely bear fruit with the SP in time? Certainly been a test of patience so far....
