Similar principles to Avacta treatment but using balloons to divert the bloodflow to the tumour and give a larger dose of chemo.Pioneered at University Hospital Southampton..................Known as chemosaturation therapy or percutaneous hepatic perfusion (PHP), the technique allows doctors to administer much larger doses of drug than patients would receive with standard chemotherapy as it does not enter the bloodstream and cause unnecessary damage to healthy parts of the body.
20 Premier league clubs….average crowds of 50,000 per week over the season when at full capacity. 50,000 x 10 matches per week = 500,000 tests per week….not to be sniffed at..!!..if you pardon the pun.
There is a piece in the Times today regarding the change from PCR to LFT tests by the Premier League next season.Hopefully a chance for Avacta to fill some more orders.Apologies if already posted.
