For SEE technology seems to be endless, and on reflection I can understand the reason for reducing investment in R&D in the short term but with so much potential for future applications is it really wise to reduce investment for the longer term ? Unless there is a possible interested party with deep pockets in the pipeline ?

I am not a great believer in charts, but looking at the three-year chart, is forming a definite head and shoulders pattern, which combined with all these good news coming through, braking above 6p could start a very interesting rise to previous highs. (It HAS to come soon)

Do you know what would be the advantages or disadvantages of the x-ray Linacs against AVO proton based system? Other than one seems to be available now.

I watched the Elekta video and it seems that their equipment involves the dreaded tunnel type, if I am not mistaken AVO is using a much more updated version of a computerized chair/ beam "gun" avoiding the claustrophobic feel of the tunnel. Also there is no mention of the Elekta system cost, it would be useful to compare .

Interesting new article, the question is if they can start to take orders after the validation or after the patients trials(end of 2020).
Very encouraging is the comments from Serandour (taking orders "soon") and a great plan to organise leasing arrangements.

If the government sticks to their promises on the NHS , AVO could benefit greatly from additional hospitals and modernisation, our tech being smaller, more efficient and considerably less expensive than current proton therapy. The timing should also be just about right.

Hope so, otherwise our shares will be worthless!
