The idea of the patent is that its not already out there, QBT protecting its IP.

Francesco Gardin, CEO and Executive Chairman of QBT, commented: “We have made impressive progress on all our core R&D areas, and we will now start field testing our optimisations of BTC mining in the next few weeks.

“We are also conducting internal and independent performance measures to help us assess mining speed and energy consumption within the ASIC line of research, which is now at the simulation stage. Based on data we have recorded to date, we expect to see a higher performance than originally estimated; this is mainly due to the optimisations which will be included in the second patent application, based on the work of our cryptography expert and the coding techniques implemented by our FPGA/ASIC Design Team.

@Suthy, agreed as my previous post implied. i moved from the ADVFN board due to derogatory remarks. i value everyones opinion.
i am a novice and missed out on everything to date, bought this in November, probably high but i feel confident that we are, possibly onto something good, 20p wuld be a nice retirement fund injection, 50p Spanish villa, £1 ST Tropez, then Monaco....just kidding but we can all dream!

@Addisonshare, i requested a steadying of the ship yesterday and maintain sp. seems things may be on the up back to where i bought in at haha.

The way the markets are looking, fear fuels panic fuels sells. i dont hold anywhere near that amount but will continue to hold out for news, when it arrives we may even get back to 2.8p :-)

In fact, news at the beginning of the new tax year would be beneficial to some in light of the expected explosion. Am i being optimistic?
not sure that we can blame MM's right now as most of the market is down roughly 3%-5% today, early yet, finish with a flourish haha

I for one think that whatever good news they may have will be held until all of this sh**t$h0? dies down to maximise the positive effect on sp.

U am 'just' a small investor who won't lose 100,0000's through this but I jave come into this with my eyes wide open and fully aware that AIM stock is volatile.
If I wanted to cut my losses I would, my choice.
I see potential here and share price dropping is a fact. I want something seismic to drop and am prepared to wait.
There has been enough people researching and sharing info continously on here and doing my own that still tells me to ride the storm.

I am new to crypto/blockchain but from what I've looked at and hear on here,it's a very complex process and takes geniuses to break. I am down a lot on my initial investment but understanding the whys and wherefores of the technology is beyond me. I shall hold and wait for the news.

thanks for the replies guys. i am pleased with the way things are going, news or not, sp has remained pretty much stable, 2p-2.5p, throughout this so can only be a positive.
i appreciate all of the research everyone does here and provides confidence for the long term in what FG is trying to achieve. Once news breaks we can maybe add zeros to the sp. :-)
