If you are CEO - What are the options here -
As i see it -
1) Increase Production - = More Revenue but more risk that the KSG turn around and say thank you very much we'll have that on our terms.
2) Maintain Production, = Slightly lower revenue but hold what little leverage the company has over KSG re production.
3) Keep pumping out the Dividends & maintaining CEO PAY & Bonus

What i am unsure of is (and there is quite a lot) how long the lease on the field is so we can keep pumping out the oil and divis?

i seem to recall that payment terms were 60 Days, so you could argue that only Sept - Nov are over due. But they need to agree on what benchmark to use - But just another annoying delaying tic tac in their armoury to use.
The late payments (money owed) will go into the accounts somewhere - but just not as revenue for 2022.
One of those $50m specials would be nice - i am currently trying reduce my overweight position here! So no chocolate for me during lent ;-)

I agree, US Bonds look like a nice long safe bet for Dollar Investors. However at these prices, yields are about c14.5% Double your money in 5 years!

A share buy back scheme - quite literally a poison pill to this whole process - you can count on 1 hand the amount of times they have been beneficial to shareholders! -
but as other have said - it would mean CA having to sell in order to keep down their own % thus becoming a distressed seller"!

i can't see an RNS coming out with payment update let alone a dividend date for at least a week. Only an uptick in buys would indicate that something has happened!

GKP is a bit of Marmite share for me,,,,,Those that hold it, either love it or hate it but are invested so have to swallow it.
For me this share is broadly constrained / determined by 3 factors - and its not currently production - we could produce all the oil in the world but it wouldn't mean DODO if we don't get paid!!!!
1) Payment updates - & Frequency of dividends - currently shoe-horned into 7 months - i would prefer to see 4 equally spaced payments with specials announced as appropriate .
2) Oil price
3) Geo political wrangling of the region.

Only a stable favourable political environment would benefit this share.

I agree, but only with similar dividend profile to 2022. Unfortunately my Avg is 2.28. Would prefer it if they were able to spread out the dividends to quarterly with additional Specials on top.... But then that would require a regular payment pattern from the Govt. Btw - does anybody know who they bank with?

They didn't mention anything about buyback in the RNS, and it goes on to say they intend to pay a divi - "Upon completion of a capital reduction" . Which i take to mean they are going to do something before the pay out the c40% dividend.

What does the "Capital Reduction" comment relate to in the RNS statement -
the Board intends to commence a significant capital return programme with up to $70 million (equivalent to 3.1 pence per share[3]) to be returned to shareholders in Q1 2023, upon completion of a capital reduction.

I too an interested in buying into this company - however when i try to get a price through IG...They only offer the fund for for sale and not the company. Can you buy the company through other providers or is the fund only available to buy? I am looking to derisk my holding in HUR!

Just curious to know what the general consensus is on the board - previously i have reinvested into other companies - (a bit of diversification) But thinking of just reinvesting going forward!!!!

Very big spread on IG at moment.... not able to take advantage at these low prices. Its annoying!! Not many shares for sale at these prices which i suppose is a good thing!!!!

Just a quick question, does anybody know the name of the ship used in our oil transportation. Do they use different ships each time? If we know the name then we could find out where the ship is currently moored?

Actually - have just managed to trade. There was a form for US shares - ??????? slightly confused but managed to get my trade in 102.8

Not sure what is going on with this share - but i am unable to buy 2Ks worth through IG..... VERY ANNOYING! There does not seem to be a market for this share - I can sell ! But not buy!!!!!!!!
