Who the suk is bothered about bubble point20 Aug 2020 19:23
Think you blokes have been blowing too many bubbles into that long pipe you have ?
Hurricane right here right now is about production - now.
Incase you missed it, we are pumping 17000 bbls a month into a big tanker that goes to market - every month
Then hurricane and it’s shareholders get handed $22 million for the delivery.
The 6 well is world class.
The 7z well has issues but is stabilised for now
Who’s to say the water ain’t parched?
Sp is silly at present giving that 4 lifts of the tanker and that’s all hurricane is worth
No value to bbls still in the ground
No value to acreage
No value to cash in the bank already which we have oodles of.
No value to long lead items we have purchased for Lincoln tie back
We are a cash printing machine at present and in this climate, cash is king given the state of the industry
We are in a good negotiating position for hiring a rig, for hiring schlumberger and the like to drill , log the well we are planning to drill next year
Sidetrack or new well? Personally I think a sidetrack is a better option as it’s cheaper but gets to the same goal -
Pump some more Crude out of the behemoth that is Lancaster
Some numbers have been banded about , I’ll guess $25 million for a sidetrack 1km long as prices have plunged since this was first quoted or thought about.
