The wellplan has probably changed a few times and that would explain a change in the number of days required to drill it...complexity, hole size, casing size if required would all have a bearing on days ...

1 firm well is interesting though as it does suggest there has been talk of more... and if they could be in the pipeline, but not in November ?

Could they sidetrack the 6 well to the” attic “ at the same time and have two pumping from the attic. All the kit would be on the rig to do it after the first one.
I think this is doable especially if they beat the curve on the first sidetrack cause by then 6 production will be reduced ..

Stena Drilling are pleased to announce that they have signed a new contract for drilling operations with Petrofac using #StenaDon!

Operations are due to commence between 1st July 2021 and 31th July 2021, for the drilling of one (1) firm well with an estimated duration of 76 days in the UK Continental Shelf for an as yet undisclosed operator.

Stena Drilling are delighted to secure work in the UKCS for #StenaDon, and look forward to working with Petrofac to complete a safe and efficient campaign in 2021.

Development costs are currently estimated at c.$60 million. Subject to a sanction decision early in the first quarter of 2021 and securing a suitable rig and equipment, first production from this well should be possible by late 2021.
