First of all it’s not the tech, second it’s not their aim, third it’s not their lack of ability or drive.
Afc Energy has the potential. Massive potential which everyone is aware of, that’s why people are happy to throw millions at it. They have all the right people with the best experience we could hope for and connections in the industry. Testing and research we have 10+ years of it, so no issues there.
My issue is we are a fuel cell company with 10+ years of research, design and testing and still haven’t perfected a stack. Everything else is an add on. Like building a superior engine then having different body’s or applications for it.
My second issue is then being told MULTIPLE TIMES, which is all in black and white over the last 5 years by Adam including interviews. We are on the cusp of going commercial , the big push into the market. Every Year since 2015 at least. This is what is so aggravating and I suspect for a lot of long term holders like myself.
When I first invested it Was really a punt into a research company, as the years have passed and the tech has advanced and I’ve ‘funded’ on the promise of progression to commercialisation , we’re are we now? Going around and around. No better with communication which we have been asking for for 5 years and Adam said in his first news letter as CEO. He Knew it was an issue and stated to resolve it.

Yeah I have seen a few of their views, and can say I don’t agree with a lot of them. This one just tickled me.

After 12 years and 9 months on the AIM market doing what almost appears to be random things with fuel cells other than burn cash, AFC Energy (AFC) showcased its latest product - the H PowerTM Electric Vehicle (EV) charger - to retail investors back in December. This is clearly delivery of the IPO statement “The Company has a sole focus on producing commercially viable fuel cells”, or perhaps not – over 12 years to achieve no material sales?! Given the lack of success of its prior commercialisation ideas, and more importantly the operating costs associated with its latest ideas, I do not foresee a wonderfully wealthy future for shareholders. In fact I see nothing positive at all...

It’s been over 10 years for me. I’m in profit with my holdings just so frustrated with the running and carrot dangling of the company. I believe in the tech and what they can achieve, but when asked, they are a research and development company. They put across for YEARS we are on the cusp of going commercial. Every milestone reached, joint ventures, everything is fast tracked.
Just reading some of the old rns makes me feel embarrassed for being sucked in, and I expect there’s alot on hear feeling the same. Don’t get me wrong I’m going to see it through, after 10+ years would be daft not to. For some strange reason I bet I will be here after bond is gone lol.

I will give him one thing. Consistent. Using the same old words, Commercial, fast track, deployment, miles stones.
Has anything change from this letter from 2014?? I’m sure he could be charged for miss leading share holders.

I have to say tho, I’m sick of hearing. “ We’re a company with 10 years research, we’re a company with 11 years research, we’re a company with 12 years research” on and on and on. Aaarrggghhhh

On a previous post which I posted this seems to be a fairly major show not too far from Afc at dunsfold park. The faq’s mention, am I able to charge my car?
Afc need to be there... This show is over 3 days.
Do we only have one unit and 2 charge points ?

People are just banking profit and investing else where, other green techs. There were thousands of trades over the recent rise here. It will come back when we get the first commercial rns, then we should at least double again. It’s a good price I think for a base.

On you tube is doing well with over 600k subscribers and a few well known faces from telly. They have an event this year in May, at Farnborough international airport. Would be great for the Afc roadshow to show there charger.
Siemens fuelcell charger was the focus the other year, which is on the channel.

Must admit around 14:00 ish yesterday a flood of trades started, well maybe not a flood but the trades picked up all of a sudden. Also 15:40 ish clumps of trades came through. Did look odd, as if People had heard good news then rushed to buy.

Well I’m going for a share price the same as Berkshire hathaway by the end of 2020.
That’s one insane share price.... look it up. Lol.
