UK chiefs question how to rebuild defence as funding fails to meet requirements amid rising threats.

Perfect catalyst for SME's to support lower cost alternative defence options, In the Budget they spoke much about how small Business's are the importance of UKs forward growth plans.... less talk and more action then and lets see some opening doors then! IMO good to hear its at least recognised!

It's old news this, just a republish from 10th Nov but the same publish date applies to 13k+ other Business's held on the list.

Just details Whitespace signed back in 2024 before being partnered with DH... which implies the relevance is to Whitespace's working history and not any new news directly influenced from recent DH partnerships...

Seems like all focus is suddenly shifting to whitespace's Business and not the fundamentals of DH - pretty sure shares are held here...

I think people as a whole have pivoted towards less alcohol due to pubs declining in significant numbers, coupled with cost of a Pint not justified either! Added to this Super market don't do the industry any favours, security tags and netting around spirits and wines makes the fixture look awful! Regardless of leadership changes, facts are revenue comes from end consumers. Social media these days also plays a significant role in alcohol sales in my opinion, there's so much content being pushed out with more and more reasons to not drink.... the only way to combat this is to say why you should would be the argument- Question is, how??? - This is one big up hill challenge for recovery. Good luck to the new appointment.

R*chy, Unfortunately i believe does, investors start looking to hedge and de-risk in the short term, speculative plays may get put to one side until the market jitters settle. e.g Oracle gapped up on the 10th Sept and since then is now down 37%, not everyone is prepared to sit and watch their Portfolios evaporate, that's the hard facts of the market - Volume reduces as investors become more captious, which is what I think we're seeing. IMO

Fear & Greed index is currently in the Extreme Fear Zone, looks like the markets are reacting to the recent US gov shut down and at a guess some indication of a terrible budget in the UK at month end. Who knows... IMO

My only concerns are the Business's structuring, for eg, if a contract is issued on behalf of Whitespace, where does this position ALRT. are we just then Susceptible to more Warrants and fundraising rounds as part of the development and growth of Whitespace (under the defence technologies umbrella) Be good to have some clarity on this so we know what we are aiming towards as a whole IMO.
