MBachaan, I was just making a comparisson between the SP not the product or the company. Stranger things have happened. Much the same thing happened with EO. years ago, that was an oily as well so I'll save the history of that one. Anyway, we are about to see. Good luck which ever way you are invested.

Reminds me of JOG a little. Pre-drill, the SP went up snd up, got the bad result and it dropped like a stone. A few days later they said 'hmmm, hold on, what's under that rock over there?' The resutls weren't as they had hoped initially and then, hey presto....the side track produced gold!! I'm not saying that is what is happening here but..... ha.... I wonder if man really went to the moon?

Well if I pick the bones out of these answers, and I thank you all for the time it took, I would come to the following conclusion: He's behind you, ol no he's not, the trap door is below you, but don't worry about that, as when you fall through the trap door you will will blue skies above. I shouldn't be alarmed as the SP fall will in small increments although it can't fall any further as bottom has been reached. Somebody is hoping for 60p and if that happens then we are all off to Derbyshire for a party. Okay, I've got it, thanks all. I now know exactly what the �17K trading pattern is and I know what I should do in response....not a lot.....;-)

What does it mean when you see that pattern as seen for those �17K buys? Anybody know?

Same on Barclays, can't sell. Also, they show a buy price of 172p but when you go to buy it is quoting 165p....very starnge?

With Trump and the Saudi's having their own separate input into the dynamics of oil price and supply, the price per barrel might push to $90? I wouldn't be surprised.....

I read yesterday that if Trump pulled out of the Iran deal that the oil price is going past $80. Well, Mr Trump has certainly made his feelings clear what he thinks about that deal. Put the Saudi utility deal into the mix as well and who can say that oil won't head to $90 maybe?

Morning Gav, thank you for the correction. So we have only had one update and that was the first well. Holiday brain this side still..... So we have three well updates to look forward to, 2, 3 & 4, and the fifth well is underway already. When the next RNS arrives, it could a very good one indeed!! In the meantime though, the SP may slip a little. Matters not if a PI is long though.

I wonder why there is no news on wells 3 & 4? You know what AIM can be like, no news and the price can drop away again.

I thought that after yesterday’s small drop that if there was not a RNS today, that there would be a penny drop by the close of play. Thankfully that didn’t happen. You know how AIM is, no news when ‘expected’ and folks sell off. Personally, I don’t get flustered by daily price fluctuations, on TXP I am most definitely in for a decent payday!!
