To be honest it's falling on very little volume. Market cap dropped �623K today on �990 worth of trades. The market makers will be happy to mark it down to rebalance their books after the recent rally. It will be back up again soon enough and hard to buy in size.

I have to agree in all honesty. This is looking like one of the best exploration opportunities I've seen in a long time, yet SP is still only 10% or so above Africa Oil investment price.

I think this stock will be an absolute hero regardless of Namibia. I'm so fixated on Guyana I almost couldn't care less about their Namibian assets. It's possibly icing on the cake, though probably not enough icing for what is likely to be a very big cake. :D

Ben, I see there are only 208M shares in free float, which is 45% of the total. I guess this is effectively reduced even further by large shareholders with sticky hands. Helps explain why it's so difficult to buy.

had just made a big discovery right on the Orinduik boundary given the SP action this last week or so, especially as most of the pullback happened before the announcement. I'm looking forward to major P50 and COS upgrades in the new CPR and Total farm in confirmation. Likely we'll see uplift from P50 900 MMBOE to 1,500-2,000 MMBOE and from 15% COS to 30% COS given increase in number of leads, upgrade from 2D to 3D and read across from Stabroek. Plenty of top notch teams working on the data. Must be top up time very soon.

The Peru drill is the El Barco-3X one I've been referencing this morning. There was a dispute a few months ago between the local gas producers and another entity regarding pricing and negotiations were underway to resolve this. My understanding was that once this was sorted a farm out could go ahead and the well drilled.

I think that previous wells had a high water cut and the plan is to side track into crestal part of the structure and thereby access the oil above the oil-water contact.

I think Colter is 56% COS and Wick is 36%. Colter is near to Wytch Farm, which has so far produced over 450 million barrels, so a great postcode and Wick is next to the Lybster Field in the Moray Firth. I don't have the COS for El Barco-3X, but the well consists of two stacked targets, El Barco Shallow P50 6.4 BCF and El Barco Deep P50 7.1 MMB.

At �6M BOIL is an absolute bargain. The SP is 2/3 underpinned by cash and BOIL now has two wells lined up in the UK for 2018 and a third in Peru awaiting a gas pricing agreement. In total BOIL is targeting P50 20 MMBOE net recoverable in these three drills. El Barco-3X 8.17 MMBOE, Wick 10.5 MMBOE, Colter 1.34 MMBOE, TOTAL 20.0 MMB. All these drills can be funded from current cash reserves. There is also the possibility of a SE Asian asset being announced at any time. BOIL looks extremely undervalued at these levels and should be trading closer to 1.5p IMO. STRONG BUY.

If I had to guess I'd say there was an issue with one of the exchange's primary data providers during the first hour of trading. Hopefully it will iron itself out.

what looks like corrupted trade feed from exchange today? I'm getting blocks of spurious trades maked with the current time stamp appearing all together in batches on a range of stocks with both this site's L2 and Digital Look's.

There's been a lot of fuss in Guyana about the awesome deal Exxon have with their Guyana licence arrangements, so I would expect the licences are extremely profitable. I would suggest $2/B 2P is very low. Isn't a much higher figure generally used. The fact the finds are so large means economies of scale should also make the oil worth more per barrel.

JT, better to move it from UKOG to MATD and ECO. JOG not bad either.

I would say that Cove Energy as was is a good comparison. CHAR is definitely similar except for the fact there have been no major discoveries offshore Namiba except for that big gas one years ago, whilst offshore Guyana is glowing in the dark.
