The point is that DCCAE & Co. aren't on holiday, down the pub or off sick. That said, I can't see how they can refuse the site survey permit either without being sued. Well past time for them to cough up. Time to sign on the dotted line and issue the darn thing.

If I remember correctly, when I took the projected project NAV, netted off the total debt required to finance it and divided by the shares in issue I got something like 500p per share in the success case. It's odd to think we are still sat at these levels given the COS of the project. Risk the 500p at 50% and halve it for good measure still gives 133p/share. Upside here is surely massive and statistically quite likely. Starting to look more and more like a tree shake on Trump induced wider market turbulence. Joker.

Just at the point the SP should really be taking off for what is a much aniticipated super high COS drill programme that has the potential to unlock huge value for shareholders, the SP tanks on zero liquidity. You couldn't make it up. What absolute BS!

Chances of needing alternative funding are very low IMO as I forsee permit sight off as imminent with funds to follow PDQ. However, in the unlikely event that other measures are needed TOR should put his hand in his pocket and loan PVR whatever is required at 0% until funds clear.

Drill ban squashed, positive statement by Irish government on oil and gas, LOGP funding sorted, CNOOC permission granted, Iolar drill underway, all judgements made positively regarding Barryroe with EIA not required and now final Irish hurdle is sign off by Minister who is very supportive. There appears to be a perfectly reasonable if frustrating explanation for why we are where we are and if I use my head not my heart it's telling me that this is an excellent buying opportunity. Urraca, I completely agree. This looks written to put maximum pressure on DCCAE & Co. We are only a couple of days past the timeframe it took for CNOOC's permit too be issued and today is a Bank Holiday in Ireland so it is still my expectation that we get it very soon and today's RNS will be rendered moot. IMO DCCAE's failure to immidiately revoke an appicaltion that was filed incorrectly and not uploading documents to their website correctly has caused these delays. They should be doing everything they can to expedite matters as quickly as possible.

RKH plunged into Sealion results in 2010 dropping from 88p in Jan to a low of 37p in April hitting the lows intraday seconds before the the discovery RNS hit. What followed was epic. Can't believe that's almost 10 years ago now. You're right Trendz when you say the selling started way before drill. Smacks of caluclated positioning by the big boys. They're here for a very good reason and so are we.

I'm certain it's all due to the permit delay. Once that completes APEC's funder will show HSBC whatever docs need to be checked and the payment will complete. HSBC is effectively acting as escrow. IMO the only reason we're hearing about this technicality at all is because the Irish bureaucracy goofed things up to such an extend that the delay went beyond PVR's account reporting deadline and PVR had to flag it up to explain their cash position for accounts sign off. APEC initiated payment as soon as the drilling ban was cancelled and PVR prompty announced it to the market so they are clearly both keen to get on with it. However they seem to have underestimated quite how slow DCCAE would be to issue the permit and have had to spin the same line on a weekly basis making them look like chumps. Final sign off is now within sight so like Factor 5 we should be off to the races very soon. I see all major and not so major shareholders are still here in both PVR and LOGP.
