I'm not aware that any new surveys have been done over Liberator, so the data set that was processed must have already been in existence. Why on earth did I3E not integrate this data before pressing ahead with raising a huge amount of debt and equity and starting to drill. Blase jokers. That said, better late than never. Drilling Serenity seems to be the correct course of action, but still no COS communicated. Still wating on a permit and rig lying idle, so costs increasing a bit too. Let's hope they hit pay dirt this time.

Not me. I can see both sides. Licence would be great news, but they clearly need funding ASAP just to keep show on the road. It's important to look at both sides of the equation to get the right balance. Folks could pile in here on all the ramping and get a nasty surprise.

Looks like we should hear later today when the next Guyana election is to be held. According to the article it may only be a couple of months away. Let's hope the opposition candidates don't make a big deal of the oil licence issue to drum up support. The massive exploration success so far totally dwarves Guyana's tiny economy and is the elephant in the room. Let's hope cooler heads prevail.
