Playing the gold sector correctly over the next 12-24 months will likely be of critical importance in getting past the current monetary debasement extravaganza with purchasing power intact. If it wasn't for that responsibility I'd turn my computer off and go do something else.

Hard to tell where SP is headed short term. Markets seem to be setting up for another big sell off to give Fed the excuse to go to negative interest rates. Bank shares are getting perilously close to breaking their crash lows. Guess there will be a chance to add lower fairly soon. GLALTH

Indiscipline, I completely agree. Current SP action is very frustrating. Can't believe we're still struggling at these levels especially with gold hitting new all time highs in Sterling only this morning.

You can get a short squeeze. In extreme circumstances I've seen stocks tick up on pretty much every single trade and soar several hundred percent in one day as MMs are steamrollered and have to significantly hike the price to regain control. New World Oil and Gas even had effectively a negative free float when a placement that had been forward sold was blocked by shareholders. Forward sellers needed to buy back more shares than the entire free float. SP did 1000% plus almost immediately. Happy days.
