If it's like Barclays then there's no liquidity on quote and deal yet. Perhaps HL and company will be run so ragged that they'll have words with Geroge and Keld about listing on the LSE which would make life much easier for them and be more appropriate for a stock with this much activity. Chop chop lads.

Extrapolating from that, if we assume that altcoins are geared 2:1 against Bitcoin (very conservative) and that KR1 is valued at 20x staking yields (low for a tech stock) then we get a target price for KR1 of around 1100p with BTC at $100K.

Not counting twice. Yesterday I suggested that if you base the SP on 20 x staking yields alone, like a PE of 20, you get 275p per share. As the holdings rise in value so will the staking yields and this valuation. Also 20 seems a very low multiplier in the current market particularly for a tech stock, never mind a crypto one that now trades in the US where this sort of thing is very popular indeed.

Argo holds only BTC. It also mines ZCash, but I believe that is sold as produced. Also ARB's crypto treasury is a lower percentage of it's market cap than KR1, but Argo is about mining. As far as I'm aware, KR1 is by far the most crypto rich stock in the UK.

Lots of people do not want to buy or cannot buy crypto directly. Handing over ID to unknown entities, security risks of owning crypto for the uninformed, difficulty in re-monetizing any profits, lack of knowledge, huge funds locked in equity accounts (SIPP and ISA), tax issues. There are many reasons why a lot of investors will prefer to get crypto exposure via the stock market over buying cryptos directly and KR1 offers the only real way to get altcoin exposure maybe globally. For many investors this is their only way to gain sizable exposure to this part of the market and they are willing to pay for it.

I'm surprised at the price action here. As soon as we get the next BTC mining update this will rocket. Claim news is also getting close.

I looked at UPPT, but so far it's all talk and I don't fancy paying 10 times this week's placement price especially as they have no actual projects to talk of as yet.

Well spotted Andy. I also note that the number of KR1 market makers on AQSE appears to have just increased from 5 to 6, which is the highest number for any stock on AQSE with only two other stocks having as many and most only having 2 or 3. Understandably there is clearly massive demand for this company's shares and the industry is responding to make investing ever easier. Excellent news.
