Starting to gain traction. P mean recoverable prospective resources on GBP's PEL 94 block are 2,595 MMB net to GBP. The current £3M market cap values them only 0.1p per barrel, which seems far too low particularly with third party drilling about to put the spotlight back on Namibia. Any success from the four wells planned and the market should rerate GBP much higher than 0.1p per barrel. GLA

TRP has a 50% stake in the block adjacent to Total's massive Brulpadda discovery. P mean recoverable prospective resources are 1,983 MMBOE gross of which 1,401 MMBOE are in a single target. Given the location I expect TRP will have little trouble in farming out at the appropriate time. Definitely looks a company maker on its own.

The risks are defo higher at TRP, but with signing of Cameroon FO expected imminently they will have a great project in play with drilling shortly. Their South African acreage also looks particularly interesting given it's adjacent to the block with the huge Brulpadda discovery. Imminent third party drilling in Namibia should also give TRP a lift over the next couple of months. I've invested in both, a lot more in ADV given the very high COS and yawning valuation gap but also a small amount in TRP given the higher risks.

Fun note. I remember buying TRP back in the day ahead of their Namibia drill. Got in nice and low around 1.3p old money. SP took off but I was knocked out a few days later on a deep retrace. SP made a similar move a few weeks later, but as I expected a similar pullback I waited. It never came and the SP roofed it almost straight up to around 9p while I sat on the sidelines. I'd researched early and waited patiently, but ended up feeling a right chump. LOL

Currently I get 10.584% via Eroton 27% (Martwestern 98% (MLPL 100% (SLE 10.58%, Midwestern 60$))). Following the Midwestern RTO I get 26.46% for SLE. However, I note also a 15% stake in Decklar Petroleum. How does this alter the percentages net to SLE? Thanks.

Assays pending and decision to rollover into next exploration period by N&A could hit any day. What's not to like?

Agreed. GBP should also move up as Nambia comes under the spotlight with drilling of Venus penciled in for September.

When I see a management going out on a limb to prevent dilution it gives me a lot of confidence that the asset is really good.

I just had a quick look and get net current assets to be around minus £18.75M going on last results and making adjustments since then. Not exactly comforting. Is this anything to be concerned about or is it all in hand? Cheers.
