Morning Sol and thank you for sharing the journey and sincere condolences for the loss of your Son. Been here myself since 2012. Invested c35k over the years, chasing the dream, early retirement and dreams of treating the kids. Lost my own son during this time! After the rise in 2018 my investment peaked at £50k. I stupidly gloated to the missus and shared my investment screen with her. She was of course very impressed and in November 18 she begged me to sell! I told her that it was too soon, we were going to be taken out by BP and it would be worth 5 times more! Stupidly I didn’t listen and then came home in Jan with her holding a letter stating we had delisted......I was not in the good books! So here I am like many others, still working but as well, still hanging on to that glimmer of hope.......you just never know!

Madp sorry to hear about the sad loss of your family member at what will have been a devastating time! As well, at the same time and along with the rest of the frr crew we were seeing our investments diminish! What I have learnt is that aside from the odd maniac , there are some kind and very thoughtful friends on here ready to provide support. Your posts are very informative madp and here’s hoping that karma does after all kick in!

I’ve been a shareholder for 8 years. Rightly or wrongly I encouraged my Son to invest in Frr himself. He was always very hopeful that this would reap dividends.Sadly he died suddenly last year which was devastating! He particularly liked pyro’s opinion “ You don’t fight over an empty box’
